Is it true monetization is basically set up the same way on all video hosting sites?

I had a few pieces of artwork I created which I've showcased in a few online photo albums. I had one preliminary comic book story I wrote and illustrated which I got copyrighted with the Library of Congress years ago.

So put them up here so we can all see what it is you're talking about.

@JGoldman10,
No.

Most I know prefer to work on their own material whenever possible.

I swear. You asked me this question before.

Doing commission work IS their own material.

He's asked every question before.
His threads keep going round and round because he never listens to what anyone says.

@cherrie,
I don't listen? No, I'm asking Rebel to clarify what he meant in his post. I'm a little confused by what he said.

From what I understood, all commission work is a creator's own work.

If I'm wrong I'd like someone to correct me.

I don't keep track of every single question I ask.

@Rebelofnj,
What do you mean by "work on their material"? Aren't they working in their own material when they are doing commission work? Or are they doing what other request them to do when doing commission work?

This is what I'm a little confused about.

@JGoldman10,
Just to be clear (once again for the umpteenth time), I am not a creator.

Just by searching "commission writing" (why can't you do this yourself?), it clearly says what this all means.
https://www.deviantart.com/writing-commissions/journal/A-Beginner-s-Guide-Literary-Commissions-405928191

Basically writers, like artists, are selling their talents to people who want certain stories to read.

However, not everything they work on is for commission. For example, artist Jeff Lemire may work on an Animal Man print for someone as commission, but he will also work on his creator owned works like Black Hammer or Gideon Falls.

I did not think I had to explain this all to an animator who wants to make his own work, as he has repeatedly said.

At this point, I can probably start making a 4 panel web comic using all of the information I gathered for you these past years.

@JGoldman10,
By creator's own work, I mean work created by the creator without input from someone requesting something.

@Rebelofnj,
I didn't ask if you were a creator or not. That's not relevant to what I ask you. Thank you for answering the question(s).

@Rebelofnj,
I know you're not a creator. You've told me this at least twice in the past.

Newgrounds is a site that deals with a lot of commissions works. I'm trying to find a link on Newgrounds that explains how commissions work on there.

I'll ask about this next time I'm back on that site.

@Rebelofnj,
No, I have an animation degree. I have not produced any animations since I graduated art school, whether it was for work or for fun.

I'm a writer and cartoonist but I'm not an animator.

I have not been in school in years.

@Rebelofnj,
Forgive me if I didn't grasp what you said. If you had clarified what you said in the first place I wouldn't have questioned you on it.

Your original post had ambiguity in it.

I am not afraid or ashamed to speak up if I don't understand what someone says.

Maybe I shouldn't say this but I don't consider myself an animator until I have what I need to produce animated cartoons with.
