How many times do you expect me to type "intermediaries"?
It is a dastardly lie to try to say someone else lied when you know they didn't.
I have not tried to prove once that the two met--but that they met through intermediaries.
and associates...
and representatives....
Twas an oversight. Which you full well know.
I don't know.
I will take your word for it - but the normal meaning of met makes your position laughable.
Or more laughable.

v. encounter; come in contact with; assemble; come before; make acquaintance; satisfy; be on schedule; face or deal with someone or something
met- - Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 :

& vb. n. Meeting.] [OE. meten, AS. m[=e]tan, fr. m[=o]t,
gem[=o]t, a meeting; akin to OS. m[=o]tian to meet, Icel.
maeta, Goth. gam[=o]tjan. See Moot, v. t.]
1. To join, or come in contact with; esp., to come in contact
with by approach from an opposite direction; to come upon
or against, front to front, as distinguished from contact
by following and overtaking.
[1913 Webster]
2. To come in collision with; to confront in conflict; to
encounter hostilely; as, they met the enemy and defeated
them; the ship met opposing winds and currents.
[1913 Webster]
3. To come into the presence of without contact; to come
close to; to intercept; to come within the perception,
influence, or recognition of; as, to meet a train at a
junction; to meet carriages or persons in the street; to
meet friends at a party; sweet sounds met the ear.
[1913 Webster]
People in politics, corporations, etc meet through intermediaries all the time. Don't see anything funny about it.
A lot of business gets done like that.
MEAT
A source of dietary protein and several essential minerals and vitamins. It is especially preferred by farminf types who prefer meat ribs (the thoracic skeletal portion) ofthe swine, nicely griled or barbequed, with sauce and corn bread and some sides.
Im sorry, am I busting in with an I dont give a **** attitude?
I should be in bed but with all the meat I ate for supper, I cant sleep
As I said, I take your word that you were not deliberately lying.
Your usage is nonetheless very misleading to most people.
I have never heard such a thing called a "meeting".
Meeting implies face to face.

I see you met the meat most meetly - and intimeetly. You coulda met it - and not et it - but it beseemeth me you could not've met it without seeing it. Not even through intermeetiaries.

Thanks tommrr.
Was hoping I would meet up with Gus today so I could wish him a happy birthday.
(Was also gonna offer him safe haven, but thought better of it after speaking with my intermediaries.)
I am so envious . . . i wish i had intermediaries . . .
You don't have INTERMEDIARIES? How do you ever meet anyone?
Oh - thanks for that info, Tommr.
