LOL! Thats what I've been doing. No problem there. Well, here is the issue: They inevitably want marriage. Like really fast. They start talking about it within a couple months, then ultimatum, then...

One thing about it: The pattern is quite predictable.

Why can't the women just have fun too? Why does the M word gotta come up like within weeks?

Insight? Ladies?

That puts me out of the circuit.I'm no lady and that's for sure.I wouldn't mind giving it a try mind you.

It must be really good to be able to stick on a pair of black stockings and a silk underskirt and pose your lower half on the world wide see off the telly web and have all these bozos eating out of your hand as fast as you can pull your kecks up in an emergency.I can't do that with my long johns.

Extra, I can't speak for every woman out there, but I will tell you that being married to my first husband cured me of ever getting seriously involved with another man, let alone get married. At least that's what I thought for about 6 years. During that time I was astounded by the reaction of men I dated, everybody said they didn't want anything serious, but as soon as I said "great, that works for me" all of a sudden I became the one woman they could not live without. I really don't think that I was such a great commodity, I think the lure was the fact that I really didn't want their butts on my sofa everynight, got pissed at the guy who on the pretext of helping me with my grocery shopping casually tossed his favorite type of bread in my cart, and I was very outspoken about not picking up after anyone other than my son and myself. My son was 3 and needed my help, the big boys didn't. Apparently that is just as hard for men to accept as it is for some women who hope you will be the center of their universe. I eventually changed my mind, but I didn't settle like I did the first time, the second time I found a wonderful full grown-up style man who helped me raise my son. I don't like to think what it would be with out him, and I know I could never replace him.

You truely are joking, right?? You think women move fast. That women bring up the "M" word within a few weeks?

Though, I am sure that happens alot........I am here to tell you for a fact that isn't always the case. I am sitting here trying to think of ONE guy that I have EVER dated that didn't get serious in a big hurry. And none of them were shy about bringing up the "M" word. Even if it was just talking about a possible future and not actually asking.

Now, I KNOW that I'm not the only female that has had this happen to them.

And I have never coerced any of them by using sex or dressing scantily. As a matter of fact sex is not something I take lightly. But I give fully if and when it gets that far. And there better be some strong feelings there or it'll never even get close.

Well of course. I wasn't talking about the women on A2K. Just all the other women in the universe. Razz

Hmmm...if men ask you to marry them fast all the time, either you are something special or they are kinda desperate...

I wonder which it could be?

Well I started to read it, but it was too hard and densely worded.

It started saying something about she doesn't want to buy us bread and pick up after us, and right about then I lost my focus...

I don't know extra. For me, my independence is more important than marriage. Then again: I've experienced marriage, it's just not something I aspire. I was born in
Europe and most of my friends there prefer living together
as opposed to being married.

Um no comment...someone better than me will probably reply.

Anyway: I hope you realize that most of what I'm saying here is all in jest.

This entire thread is kind of shallow: Marrying a Hot Woman--come on--its all shallow.

So, I'm sort of playing the Devil's Advocate Male Chauvinist Whatever. Just having fun with it.

In all seriousness, glitterbag is right on.

But joking aside, I do meet a lot of women who seem to want to get married like yesterday. I guess there's plenty of men like that too.

I would say Bite Me, but actually I don't know, I don't care for that insult as I think it would hurt me more than you? Well it depends how hard you bite, I suppose.

Well I think I've been meeting a lot that are right in that zone where the Biological Clock is ticking, loudly. I think that has a lot to do with it.

I've never had the experience of such a rush for M before....just the last few years.

Though you do play the part of Male Chauvinist Pig pretty well. Razz

I know. I heard hot women are the worst.

LOL. Well my mom said girls pretend like they don't like it, but they actually do. Well you have to be a balance of a jerk and a nice guy. Too nice and sensitive and considerate of her feelings and controllable, and she's gone. She wants to control you and tame you, but as soon as she is successful in that, she's gone. She said be a jerk, women love it. Especially the hot ones. ???

What do you all think of that? Nice guys (too nice) finish last with ladies in general?

Nah, I don't buy it at all. Sure there are some women that prefer bad boys. But these women for the most part never give nice guys the time of day.

So where did "nice guys finish last" come from?

I think that some guys who label themselves as Mr. nice guy, are really coming off as needy. They worship the ground their woman walks on. Idolizing her, nearly. Devoting all their time to her. To the point the woman feels suffocated. It's not what women want.

They want a nice guy who is happy within himself. That doesn't need a woman to complete his life. But instead wants a woman who will compliment the good life he already has. If that makes any sense. Smile

Of course........there are exceptions. Some women are just psycho, you know. Razz
