Israel does not have an obligation to cease to exist.

Defining Israel's very existence as oppression and refusing to make peace with them under any circumstances means an end to international pressure for Israel to give up any more land to the Palestinians.

Israel was only being asked to give up land if they got peaceful acceptance in return.
