wow. that's gotta be a shock to the system.

how'd ya like vancouver ? i'm trying to convince the wife to get outta socal. she's got too much family here for back east, but has said she'd be cool with seattle or something.

i hear there's still a lot of music up there. and i know for sure that a lot of my post production clients moved that direction.

Excuse us a minute folks...we gotta catch up...

Vancouver...I'd say it's the most livable place I've ever been to. My sister's shooting docs for the Discovery channel up there and there's a great live music scene.

I took this shot from a garden attraction on Vancouver Island.

Several posts are missing yet Finn's remains?? Strange.

In my post that evaporated I pointed out that the "Did you know" series posted by CG was widely circulated misinformation by the religious right. The Snopes example was nearly word for word to CG's and was collected in 2003. That is why it was so easy to refute as I did once before in this post.

The phony James Madison quote even shows up in an ad campaign on one of my local conservative radio stations KVOI.

Americas Godly Heritage.

Why is it that the religious right continues to promote lies and misleading information?. Are they desperate or it it just their nature?

Here is a link to the sound clip.

Indeed!

One might think that Finn is able to exert some diabolical influence on the workings of these threads. Do ya think?

It's been humod here, too. If I could snap a picture of the Pacific from Fashion Island's P. F. Chang's I would. Complete with practically a fleet of sailboats out today.

darned if ya aren't right. wonder what happened. last page back i listed a couple of links that would support your post.

here's something from one on madison;

Quote:
James Madison
Called the father of the Constitution, Madison had no conventional sense of Christianity. In 1785, Madison wrote in his Memorial and Remonstrance against Religious Assessments:

"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."

"What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wish to subvert the public liberty may have found an established clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them not."

Something diabolical is happening on this thread.

As much as I would like to believe that my mighty will can transform and transfer cyber realities, someone else is messing around here.

I didn't post some of the posts credited to me.

We have a supreme hacker among us.

Hey Hacker...I'm honored that you have chosen Finn as a golem, and grateful that you seem to flow within my flow. I am also astounded by your ability --- it's cool and frightening.

Do me a favor man, wield your cyber magic elsewhere or at least assume the identity of someone else - try Cyclo (no one will notice).

And, how do you know that the OTHER guy isn't a clone of me?
