Ebenezer Scrooge wore a nightgown with a nightcap to boot.

@InfraBlue,
Exactly InfraBlue.

Re the cap, when it's really cold I put on my leopard print felt cloche hat.

I am quite the vision.

That and my "peer over the bridge of the nose" dollar store reading glasses, and granny panties.

I am one hot chick.

@InfraBlue,
A friend of mine wears a nightcap regularly. I've been knitting variants of them recently - going to give them to everyone at the farmhouse for next Christmas.

@zxcxzv123,
A question for women

I hope the only people answering this question were women (who are interested in what straight men wear to bed).

@roger,
When I wear the hat I generally pull it off after awhile.

One weird thing (among many about me) is that I need to sleep with whatever ear is exposed covered. Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with being cold. It’s like I feel secure/protected. It’s a comforting thing.

@chai2,
I sleep in a Tshirt and boxers/pants. My wife keeps several layers. She also sleeps in her bra, which I take as equivalent to the swin fins in terms of comfort.

@Olivier5,
I once knew this woman, in her I guess 20’s at the time, who always wore a bra. She wasn’t large breasted. It was I think out of modesty. I wondered what her husband thought of that, but I guess he didn’t mind. According to her he had never seen her without one.

Off topic, but I also knew a young woman who said her father had never seen her mother’s hair, as she always wore wigs, and had particular ones for bed.

@Olivier5,
Oh no! Orthodox Jews see their wives hair. They are the only ones who do. Hmm, well don’t know about other immediate family members.

This was a black woman. She just always wore wigs. Apparently really good ones.

@chai2,
I don’t know if it’s related but African women like wigs and extensions quite a lot. There’s a whole industry about it.

What would be the Brits laugh about if they banned French bashing?
