Interesting, Walter, thanks for thinking of this little thread. It looks like the modern scene has only trams for traffic and those are giant sidewalks compared to most small American towns.

I've been on the shores of that lake, west of Toronto, where my wife's cousin lives. Nice spot.

Well, that was an underwhelming piece of news.
We spent a few days there, by the lakeside, three or four years ag. Very nice it was too.
I remember also, that there is a very good nautical bookshop down by the harbour in Toronto.
We didn't know where to send the card.
