I give the Heat their due, but I would have felt better if the Pistons had even bothered to play hard.

Bella...anybody seen bella?

There comes a time in a series when both teams know who the better team is.

Do you think the time is now? If so which two teams do you think will be in the finals?

I'm here....I'm here...

Sorry, works been a real bitch. I, unlike my team, have been going. Confused

Anyway, it's now or never...One game seems like so little but the Heat know that the Pistons are going to bring it tonight. As well, the Pistons better know that the Heat wants this BAD. I don't think they want to get slapped in the face two years in a row in their house.

Yeah...the strange thing is...the pressure is all on the Heat to win at home. It's curtains if they have to go to Detroit tied.

I hear that. If the Pistons lose, my only interest in the playoffs will be rooting against that spoiled, histrionic douche.

I dunno...did the Pistons play hard?...or did "white chocolate" dismantle them with 10-12 shooting? Apart from Rip's 31 points, the motormouths played like high school studs. Maybe Reeg is right and Flip was way over his head...
bring on the .....Mavericks!!

Yeah. New blood. Shaq and Pat Riley only have thirty-seven rings between them. And Gary Payton, there's a young guy. Rolling Eyes

Now, I must think. Who do I hate more, Shaq or Mark Cuban?

what's to hate?

shaq's gonna be a cop when he retires, and cuban came to the aid of the coach's wife the other night.

but i gotta say i'm glad there won't be any more "guaran-sheed" victories in this playoff...

Shaq lacks personality. And personality does not mean talking about yourself in the third person, writing horrible rap songs, or answering, when asked upon returning from Greece whether you visited the Acropolis, "No, we didn't go to any dance clubs."

Any Cuban doesn't get any points for occasionally acting like a human being--he's supposed to. Unfortunately, he often fancies himself a coach or even a player, and is routinely fined for being a dick mid-game.

G, nicely put about Cuban.

Yeah unfortunately Nash isn't gonna get his first ring this year.

Hmmmmm.... yeah who to hate more Cuban or Heat.... Well Payton deserves his first ring. Then yet again there's Armstrong... Well as long as Cuban doesn't get a ring for winning the Championship it's all good.

I think I'll root for the Heat. Dwayne Wade went to college in my hometown. And James Posey played ball at my Alma Mater, Xavier. Let's go Heat!

Yeah, you're right. Those three guys make up the whole team. And Payton has like a MILLION rings, doesn't he? Either that or NONE. And Dwyane Wade is practically a senior citizen.

Yes, you've made a great case there. It would definitely be better to see the same stupid team in the finals three years in a row. Rolling Eyes

I do agree with you about Cuban though. Or as I call him, Superdork.

I think Dallas will probably whoop their asses, but I really would like to see Alonzo Mourning finally get a championship ring.

I concur, dude. It would be better to see the same team in the finals three years in a row, if it's the Pistons. Do I have to come out and say that Walker, Mourning, and Williams are no spring chickens either? I mean they ain't ANCIENT, but...ah who cares?

It's just my opinion, but there's something more appealing about an actual TEAM made up of former nobodies that gelled into something great (Pistons), than the product of a Pat Riley shopping spree (Heat).

I do like Wade though. He's the anti-Kobe, and a lot of fun to watch. The Heat and Dallas are the best this year, and it will be a great series.
