I know...we just need to get some buckets. Missing easy points, not taking 3 point shots...ugh. What a nightmare. It was like watching a different team play.

I knew the game was over last night when Shaq and Wade were out and we still couldn't keep them from the net.

The only reason we didn't get our asses whooped was free throws.

But the Pistons do work best under pressure and the only good thing about losing this game is that now they will have every opportunity to correct the mistakes they made last night.

If anyone can do it, it's the Pistons.

I tell you, Bella - I'm a Detroit man, but I'm scared of this Miami Heat. they are healthy, rested, and wanting revenge - it's gonna be a hard row to hoe for the Pistons.

You both make valid points. The Pistons for some reason do start to play some real ball when under pressure as if they would give you the 3-0 lead only to humiliate you to come back and take the series 4-3.

At the same time yeah it's like what you said Heat wants vengeance badly and if some miracle they take the next game in Detriot and take a 2-0 lead they're gonna look to finish it off in Miami for sure. I'm not saying that's likely to happen... taking it to game 6 & 7 however will put Heat in a dangerous spot. If guys like Payton (plus Shaq and Wade) can step up like what he did in Game 1 then have no fear for we have a real series in hand.

If the Pistons lose twice in a row at home, this series will be ugly for Detroit fans.

Yeah, if I was a betting man I'd have to plunk down the dough on the Pistons tonight.

Forget what I said about the Mavericks Diop. He wasn't even on the bench last night...go figure.

Great game though I thought Dallas had it when Harris hit a clutch shot but Boris Diaw??? got the clincher for Phoenix. Boris Diaw?...he's French for God's sake....what's the NBA coming to....Canadians...Frenchies!! Shocked

He traveled on that last shot. But it was a good game. West Finals promise to be hot.

This series is much more interesting to me. I'm happily surprised at how smart this Avery Johnson dude has turned out to be. He's really making smart adjuistments so far. He might be a pretty good coach after all.

Why does that suprise you? He was a smart player - known as Pop's "Little General" on the floor. You sound a little late on the uptake on this one - I mean, he was voted coach of the year by his peers.

Sorry, I just remember when he was interviewed as a player thinking, "What a f*cking idiot."

Yeah, I guess I am a little late to this party. But I see it now. The guy is good. Real good.

Who the hell was that team the Heat just dismantled? It resembled the Pistons, but it sure wasn't the same bunch who showed up for Game 2.

If Pistons end up losing this series it's probably b/c their desire isn't in the game any more. Well at least not as much as the Heat.

If Heat goes up 3-1 I wonder what would happen? It would be brutal if Pistons came back to take it in 7 games. Well if it does go 7 games hopefully Heat can give Pistons a taste of their own medicine for what they did to the Heat last year. As in 3-2 Pistons lead then 4-3 for Heat. Well we'll just have to wait and see.

What do you guys think of the Draft this year? I know the #1 pick is probably useless to the Raptors. Do you guys think there are hype on guys like Thomas and the Italian seven footer? How about Greg Oden what do you think about him? I know he's not eligible for the draft b/c of the stupid new rules.

Here's my deal -

I'm a Detroit fan. If Detroit beats Miami, I'm with Detroit all the way. If Miami wins, I'll pull for whoever wins between Dallas and Phoenix.
