Style is secondary to effect, it's a means to an end. A toreador who forgets to kill the toro is dead meat, whatever the splendor of his style.

Biden will need some of that fighting-to-the-bitter-end spirit, in my opinion.

So Biden needs to win by a rather significant margin.

He will need more than good form and natural class to do that. He needs to channel the nation rage against Trump. I don't mean shouting. I mean the use of ascerbic, aggressive debating, showing how much of a joke he is. I mean no mercy for the clown. Biden needs to demolish Trump.

In style, if possible, but personally I mind the result more than the grace of its execution.

If I were Biden...what I would want right now is for my opponents to
underestimate me.

I wonder who this modern political hero -- Bernie Sanders -- will be voting for in November... Green party? Trump? Mary Poppins? Hmmm tough one.

Biden was not my first choice...or even my second or third. But he is the candidate the Democrats chose...and I, as an Independent, am committed to voting for him.

What I ask is that he campaign as Joe Biden...not as something various factions of the party want him to be.

That seems to be what he is doing...and I am pleased by that.

Yeah, me too. I'm not saying Biden is doing bad. I'm just saying: he shouldn't listen to those who want him to pull his punches to look presidential. He is facing a dangerous brute. Sharpen your words like razors Joe, let them drip in acid. Attack. Don't play it cool. Or rather, play it cool when it pays to play cool, but don't place style before function.

Btw, for anyone wanting to know facts—Bernie developed the 8-point #DefundThePolice program being publicized and adopted in several cities.

Because Bernie was advocating the destruction of police brutality before other people would even talk about it.
