Every time Trump (or his minions) brag that he acted quickly on travel restrictions against China, I wish someone in that briefing room would ask him:

"Didn't Italy put restrictions on China travel BEFORE you did?"

(Answer: Yes, as did 44 other countries).

Which 44 and what were the dates?

Well, apart from the fact that Blather turns this thread into a virtual tweet-o-rama joint, I mean.

He scours that joint constantly, looking for any opinion or factual claim, however spurious, which opposes Trump, then "retweets" them here.

Like many of his ilk, he is heavily influenced by twitter.

The chump.

I'm pretty sure there is a central repository that people like Blatham and now Brand X go to to be spoon fed tweets. I doubt there is a lot of scouring.

Setanta has this right. The dipshit in question has often posted using a mock version of informal african american speech. It's a trolling device meant to offend in a racial context. The guy is an asshole for doing it. It's a key reason I put him on ignore after the first four or five exchanges with him.

Doesn't change what he's saying though or the point he is making. I think the real issue is that you don't like the fact that someone has the time to keep up with, and refute the daily spewage you and several others here make every day. Page after page of the same ****.

How many times have you commented on the models joke? More than once and your no longer making a statement. You're just scoring points with your audience of sycophants.

@layman,
It seems kinda racist to assume that "informal" speech which falls short of "the queen's english" could only be spoken by blacks, eh? Like only blacks could possibly be that ignorant, that the idea?

Who do you think most blacks in this country learned the language from? Southern white boys, that's who.

On this day 52 years ago when I was 6 years old, a radical Democratic Socialist named Martin Luther King, Jr was murdered while he was meeting with striking sanitation workers, planning steps to force the city / state government to treat them fairly.

Let’s don’t forget that.

Yeah, but that's not why he was shot.

He was shot primarily because he was a damn nigga, eh?

A former pacifist, he persuaded Christians to support the war against Hitler

Ok, that's cool.

Reinhold Niebuhr was an American Protestant theologian whose exposure to the problems of industrialism while working as a pastor in Detroit led him to join the Socialist Party for a time.

That aint.

Come to find out, he's the one who said this:

Niebuhr wrote:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

He must be some kinda alky, I figure. That alone makes him OK in my book, eh?

Um, you'd be wrong. We just don't care for the shtick, which manages to come across, in its cloying vulgarity and sheer volume, as a perfect example of some of the daily spewage we have to read here every day.

I think the real issue is that right-wingers, generally an ill-tuned chorus of perpetual crybabies and sore-asses anyway, have nothing better to do online than engage with people they don't respect and endlessly repeat the same stupid arguments with people they dislike or hate, day in day out, year after year.

From the Dik:

Quote:
vulgar, adjective: characteristic of or belonging to the masses.

So you hate common foke, too, eh? Another limousine liberal elitist, I see.

Any comments on Noam Chompsky, Marx, Michael Moore, Hitchens, China, the WHO, the IPCC, or any other of your heroes in response to my "spewage," I wonder?

Bernie Sanders has proven to me over 30 years that he is willing to oppose the ultra-wealthy, corrupt republicans and democrats, billionaire puppet masters, and dirty CEOs of oil and pharmaceutical companies. I trust him like I’ve never trusted any politician before. There’s not a lot I wouldn’t do for Bernie.

But, if he has the audacity to ask me to vote for ******* Joe Child-Feeling, Woman-Sniffing, Raping Racist Biden, I’ll have to say...

Heh, makes me think of a good ole Bobby Dylan tune, kinda:

Ya say you're lookin for someone....

Who is never weak, but always strong...

To protect you and defend you.....

Whether you are right or wrong....

A lover of your life, and nothing more...

Well, it aint me, Babe....

Naw, naw, naw, it aint me, Babe....

It aint me you're lookin for.
