It reminds me of an account I heard on CBC radio where a pilot and co-pilot of a small two engine plane took some friends up with a plan to prank them. Covertly, they shut one engine down and began to act with concern. Then, again as planned, they shut the second engine down. Everyone is freaking of course. But on the pilot's attempt to restart either, he failed. This wasn't part of the prank. The co-pilot said to him, "Now you're in trouble"

Biden would hear about his son during the entire debate. If Biden calls young women names, portly men fat—while challenging them to push -ups, lies about being arrested trying to visit Mandela, he won’t make it three minutes into Trump’s accusations.

If Biden, then Trump. Period.

Warren was too savvy to go against the Clintons, but in some alternative universe where she wasn’t afraid or Hillary wasn’t trying to claim her birthright—and Liz hadn’t lied so much as to make wary progressives distrust her, she’d be in her second term. Trump would have never happened.

But she was afraid of Clinton and Bernie wasn’t.
