With this coronavirus, who knows how Super Tuesday and the rest of the primary will be affected. I know I sure wouldn't want to go to any large gatherings.

I'm going to vote absentee all this year.

Might order some mask by the bulk for me and my family before voting day. I rarely go out, but when I do it is to the store and the doctors one of which is located in a hospital---where sick people are.

Unless you want to pay $35o for a pack of 10 single use disposable masks, it's a bit late for that.

Although you could back order some at a reasonable price and probably have them arrive by summer.

@snood,
I think that's exactly right. But aside from getting out the voters, there are many independents who ought to be targeted as well. Screw the GOP base. They are lost unless a catastrophe hits them in the face.

What post of mine are you referencing? You've linked to Judd's tweet I quoted.

Valved masks (which are preferable anyway) are of no use for such purposes. The valve would let the virus be exhaled freely.

So just make sure you are buying the valved variety. But don't expect to get any new masks until summer at this point.

A good, perhaps critical, question to ask oneself now, Which Dem candidate would you most trust to deal with this virus outbreak most effectively? Who would immediately seek out the best people, educate himself/herself with dedication, move with an appropriate sense of urgency and speak with clarity and honesty to staff and to the public?

Warren probably.

But that's not the question I'm asking. I'm asking which candidate is the least likely to violate America's civil liberties for their own sadistic pleasure. That would be Mr. Trump.

Congratulations to Joe Biden on his thumping victory in the South Carolina primary, thereby punching a sizable hole in the side of Cap'n Crunch's cardboard boat. #SCprimary2020

I does like me some Wolcott now and again.

If Bernie wins the nomination and the presidency, the chances are about 50/50 that he would die in office.

@oralloy,
Im not sure anybody really cares very much what you think or what you ask, and trump feels himself perfectly able to violate any laws he wants to,

Of course. But the more pressing question is whether all the dipshits that have made his campaign look like it is followed by a pack of nasty weasels will do anything but destruction if it is not him.

It’s pretty simple:

1. Donald Trump is really, really bad for America. He must lose.

3. The only person who can beat him is the Democratic nominee.

3. Therefore, I will support the Democratic nominee. No matter who it is.

If a conservative like me can do that, can’t everyone?
