Yes, I am aware that those people exist and included a proviso in my post. But he doesn't mention climate change in that particular opinion piece and I think people who support the progressive agenda should be familiar with the arguments arrayed against that agenda.

Yeah, a lot of people are thrilled about our ability to further our dependence on fossil fuels and make profits through the extraction and sale of hydrocarbons. I'm not a fan of hydraulic fracturing or tar sands extraction but I'm also willing to accept the economic consequences of shifting away from petroleum. Many aren't. Stephens is one of them.

People still living in 2016 and refusing to accept centrist blame for anything is boring to me this many years later. It's okay with me if people want to continue on this suicidal bent, but I prefer to focus on the here and now. It's got more to do with saving us from a military/industrial coup than babying Hillary apologists.
