Voting for 'Elizabeth Warren' is not voting for a woman. It is a name and image being used by a conglomeration of forces (mostly male), in order to 'humanize' their interests in the mind of voters.

They do this because they know that voters would reject them if seen in reality.

Bernie on ABC
"Sanders pushed back at the idea that he and Warren hold "identical positions," and added, of the notion that voters would prefer the similarly liberal Warren given she is younger and free of health concerns, that he is the sole candidate willing to take on the nation's "ruling class."

"I am, I believe, the only candidate who's going to say to the ruling class of this country, the corporate elite: Enough, enough with your greed and with your corruption," Sanders said. "We need real change in this country."

@edgarblythe,
While change is needed, Mr.Sanders has yet to fully explain how he plans to pull off all these changes. Many of which will be painful to the voters, at least for the start...which he also never bothers mentioning.

@Sturgis,
He explains what he plans to try to do. He is the only one of the candidates who will even try. That's good enough to get my vote.

He's going to try to take on the corporate elite? Obama tried to reform the way we purchase health insurance. It barely passed the House and by the time it was rolled out the Tea Party had erased the Democratic majority and the Senate had turned Republican. And that was just one modest reform. (Yeah I know, it was too modest; it should have been Medicare for All; Obama was just a weakly-disguised centrist, etc.) And then the lawsuits started and various parts of the legislation were repealed or stymied. And then the MAGAmericans elected Trump. So he's going to take on the ruling class? He may end up having to take on a significant portion of the working class as well.

@coldjoint,
Extreme right wingers have virtually no idea of who is electable and who isn't or the breadth of support from people who don't live in the red state hellholes the right wingers inhabit.

@edgarblythe,
She’s been conveniently forgetting ‘the evolution’ of her views on gay marriage, referring to her past as a Republican by saying she didn’t keep notes in her childhood.

She’s already ducking and weaving to avoid telling the truth. She’s very bad at it.

@Lash,
In four years we will either be turning progressive as a nation or slipping deeper in the morass. It's a narrow path to walk. Warren is a false beacon. Biden is more regressive than even Clinton.
