Attempting to reasonably address African American issues is a bad move. You will only be attacked for your good faith efforts. There will be no "reasoned dialogue" or "search for a solution" resulting from such an endeavor.

If someone is a white supremacist, it is fair to argue to them that white supremacy is wrong. I don't see why that has to be embellished by accusing them of saying something that they didn't actually say.

The guys mom was racist in that she didn’t want her son bringing home a white girl. There, you happy?

It still affects not at all the point of the article - which is a cogent, substantive point- Bernie Sanders has a black woman problem. And it’s something that will derail him if something doesn’t change in his rhetoric and approach.

Another interpretation is that these guys were protesting statues of old white guys being removed and replaced.
