@camlok,
Cm Cain followed his presidents orders just as Trumps pack of liers do today. So you think we have totalitarian rule today. I can only agree with you completely.

The Vietnam War was totally unnecessary. As unnecessary as our middle east wars are today. But McCain was a military man. When I was in the military I was pro war in Vietnam. I had to be a civilian to get the other side of the story. McCain did as he thought he was supposed to. And in that capacity he was a good soldier.

That's correct. McCain followed orders just like Nazi death camp guards did. Following the orders of superiors who are committing war crimes, genocide, terrorism does not protect the followers from being culpable.

Only the US with its status as a powerful rogue nation protects all the millions of US war criminals.

Stop mincing words, Edgar. Those were not wars, they were illegal invasions of sovereign nations, the ultimate war crime.

I get the part about young men being naive and stupid. I too was in that frame of mind but that does not mean that McCain is innocent of the war crimes he committed.

All the Nazis, Japanese that were hung were just following orders. That claim has never worked for anyone. The US "justice" system doesn't even recognize that kind of defense. In fact it is rather brutal and harsh in its dealings with young men and women caught up in adult crimes.

@RABEL222,
I don't mean to be unkind, but are you drunk, Rabel, or are you in need of some kind of assistance. You do not sound well. You aren't making any sense.

You can never trust Democrats to not backtrack on this or anything else:

The Real News Network:
Breaking: After a contentious debate, Democrats have voted to scale back the power of Superdelegates, a key progressive demand after the 2016 election. Starting in 2020, Superdelegates will not be able to vote on the first ballot at the Democratic convention(it’s been decades since a second ballot was needed to pick a nominee) Watch for instant reactions and analysis

@Lash,
I'm more worried about the possibility of Trump coming to realize what a horrible human being he is.

@coldjoint,
Farron Cousins. You could have found that out within the first few seconds. Obviously research and the truth mean nothing to Trump and his followers.

@edgarblythe,
It's not in your power to forgive him, Edgar.

I imagine there are folks in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, ... celebrating the death of this one US war criminal.

Like all US war criminals he was never handed the poison chalice promised by Justice Jackson to all war criminals that followed Nuremberg.
