Do you expect Bernie to “reveal” something, or will it be revelatory to those who haven’t listened to him before?

He is expected to put his hat in the ring this week.

Nope, not exploratory as it happens. As of this morning, he’s officially in.

CBS is touting Bernie announcement momentarily.

I just caught the 8 AM broadcast on CBS. They were much nicer to him than two years ago.

Well, sir, at Trump's next speech, let's get someone like Tarrio to be sitting behind Trump so that the camera's all pick him up. That will help send the message we want out there.

I think we all expected him to fill this role. I'm certainly delighted this talented guy is still around and active.

I think watching cable news is important, from Maddow and Melber to as much Hannity and Carlson as you can stomach. The second one couldn't be truer though. Online fights almost never change anything, and are time you could be otherwise helping the political revolution.

Sanders, 77, made the announcement in a radio interview in his home state of Vermont.

"I wanted to let the people of the state of Vermont know about this first," Sanders said on Vermont Public Radio.

The self-described Democratic socialist joins an already crowded field of candidates seeking to take on President Donald Trump and the Republicans in 2020.

Sanders gave an outline Tuesday of how he will campaign.

"And what I promise to do is, as I go around the country, is to take the values that all of us in Vermont are proud of - a belief in justice, in community, in grassroots politics, in town meetings - that's what I'm going to carry all over this country," he said.

Sanders was an outsider when the 2016 presidential primaries began, but he came close to pulling off an upset over Clinton.
He called Trump a national embarrassment and a pathological liar.

"I also think he is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, somebody who is gaining cheap political points by trying to pick on minorities, often undocumented immigrants," Sanders said.

Sanders, an independent who caucuses with Democrats, made an unsuccessful bid for the presidency in 2016, losing out to Hillary Clinton, who was in turn defeated by Donald Trump.

Like Trump, Sanders was an outsider when the 2016 presidential primaries began, but he came close to pulling off an upset over Clinton.

He garnered passionate support among young liberals with his calls for universal health care, a $15 minimum wage and free public university education.

Sanders served in the House until 2006 when he was elected to the US Senate. He was re-elected in 2012 and 2018.

That second post is better than the first.

And re "online fights", i certainly agree. But I don't consider that what you and I are doing, for example, is fighting.

I may disagree with some of your posts, but I don't see us fighting.

Good. I don't ever want to see us tempted in the direction of post-fight sex.
