@blatham,
I expect every candidate outside approved establishment democrat candidates to have their national allegiance questioned re ‘Russia!’

Bernie, Tulsi, and Jill Stein have already had to defend themselves against ridiculous smears, and I am sure it will happen again.

It’s infuriating.

@blatham,
I realize an establishment Dem litmus test requires no one speak ill of Mueller.

This thing has cost tens of millions, and basically they might have Trump and a few of his bumbling henchmen dead to rights for trying to get some oppo on Clinton.

Should Bernie have run as a third party candidate instead?

When it comes to Tulsi Gabbard, the best relevant quote there is that "she proclaims herself a peacenik, but it’s a peace where the strongman always wins".
I actually have no idea who she is beyond having just read here on a2k that she went to meet with a horrible war criminal.

I guess I can deduce from the context that she is someone that the Democrats are considering for president.

Oh come on now, don't be coy. You've inferred a Godfather reference and you're walking away from it?

I think you meant to say 'stagger'.....I'm guessing you were not an English Major. Swagger is an entirely different thing.

Well, there is a little bit of Cap'n in me. And I'm sure my "education" may be debatable by the collegiate, but I know a veiled threat when I see one.

That was clearly a threat. So I'm asking for clarification. Just a simple explanation on how an "accident within the next few months" may come into fruition.

Just asking for a friend...

@neptuneblue,
Well, the FBI might be collecting info. Intelligence folks know how to sift thru the info. But I was only there for 32 years and Trump said the Intel Chiefs are idiots...I wonder what he knows that I don't? Hmmmmmmmmm, probably nothing.

P.S. I wasn't FBI, I was NSA.

Nonsense. She was clearly speculating that the Democrats (or their leadership at least) would carry out this act of aggression, and was not making any sort of a threat.

@oralloy,
A speculation is winning or losing an election. Not a unfortunate accident in the months to come. Aggressive? Maybe. Murder? Absolutely.

Exciting!! The Dems have moved so far left that some dunces may not even try.

https://www.axios.com/2020-presidential-election-liberals-howard-schultz-624825d3-7c2a-465e-b52c-f2dd9490f19d.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=twsocialshare&utm_campaign=organic
The rising Democratic enthusiasm for big government liberalism is forcing a trio of leading 2020 contenders to rethink jumping in, several sources tell Axios.

What's happening: Michael Bloomberg and former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, each of whom were virtual locks to run, are having serious second thoughts after watching Democrats embrace "Medicare for All," big tax increases and the Green New Deal. Joe Biden, who still wants to run, is being advised to delay any plans to see how this lurch to the left plays out. If Biden runs, look for Bloomberg and McAuliffe to bow out, the sources tell us.

The Democratic attacks on Howard Schultz, after he said he was considering an independent bid, reflect the current party's limited appetite for moderation.
In "Schultz Derangement Syndrome," conservative N.Y. Times columnist Bret Stephens wrote: "[T]he neuralgic reaction to his bid says something about the ideological drift of the Democratic Party."
Iowa polling by a prominent 2020 hopeful found that the Democratic electorate has moved sharply left.

For instance, the polling found that "socialism" had a net positive rating, while "capitalism" had a net negative rating.
Bloomberg is going ahead with expensive preparations for a campaign: He directed his staff to prepare a launch plan for him, after he received an encouraging response from a business audience in Northern Virginia 10 days ago.

Kevin Sheekey, his close adviser, was spotted in Washington yesterday on a recruitment mission for campaign talent.
If Bloomberg ran, he would argue that no candidate in the race has done more to save the environment and support gun control.
Be smart: The decision on whether to enter the crowded 2020 field is becoming a math p
