In that case I would even level it.

Level it? Tell me, what does it take to install a washer? I assume there's a hose hook up (is there 2 - in and out?) and power (a plug?).

Mmm, my ex used to be a furniture deliverer for UPS, and those guys loved to be offered beers (sshhh, a secret).

There is a water line to the unit (usually copper) and there is the drain. The electric is hardwired except in the higher end models that do plug in.

The most difficult part can be getting the old one out. If a new floor was put in then the old unit can actually be 1 or 2 inches below the floor. I have literally had to cut a dishwasher into quarters in order to remove it.

I never had extra, left-over --- wait! I have some crappy zima-type beer from a party last year. And some geary's crud. Want that?

I wish that was the case, we have to go back to the shop at the end of the day and if the wrong person smelled beer I would be fired or suspended. The funny thing is that I have been offered a beer at like 8 o'clock on a Monday morning, is it that obvious?

On the other hand I was once given a bottle of scotch as a tip and have also been given several bottles of wine.

Sublime - so it's more complex than I'd care to take on this week. Maybe someday I could try it.

A quick fix for a seemingly dead garbage disposal: stick a broom handle down in the area where the disposal grinds the food and knock the hell out of said mechanism.

Much simpler - and safer - to stick the provided wrench into the hole located at the center of the bottom and work it free from there.

If it's an older one the rim could bust loose that way.

A tool similiar to a large allen wrench comes with the disposal. You can use it to free up the grinders if they get stuck.

Er, well, I rent this place and the garnage disposal is thought to be about 18 years old. My landlords can't find the keys I gave them last month..... nope, not wrench here. I would just assume have no disposal, so if it broke, maybe they'd put in a regular drain.
