Buttercup, Mezzie, and Will o', the threads about Cav have been the only ones I've read this week, and I'm glad to see your posts in them. I haven't made very many posts, though, since I've not been quite sure what to say.... Still, knowing that you guys will be here posting gives me some comfort about the future of A2K. Thanks.

Buttercup

Do come & rant about whatever, when ever the spirit moves you! Funny, we've lost cav but it looks like we've gained some of his his nearest & dearest people as a result. Life is quite strange sometimes ....

Please give wee cav a big hug from me! Very Happy

I'm so glad you have so many loved ones around to help you through this. It also helps that you are a very strong person and I admire you for that. Cav always talked about how strong of a person you are and you knew how proud he was of you when he bragged about his beautiful wife :-)

Welcome, Will o' the Whisp!

Buttercup, that was extraordinarily affecting.

Sigh.

I'm so appreciating that we at A2K are being included and honored in this way -- what I would most want to do at this point is communicate with you three (listen, not just talk to), the people who were close to Cav, and we are. Somehow very comforting to me, hope we can provide comfort in turn.

Sorry It took me so long to respond to this thread... I just wanted to say I am sorry to hear about Cav. though I didn't get the chance to get to know him like some of you, from what I have read of his posts, he seems like he was a great man!

Will o' the Whisp--

Welcome to A2K. You come with impeccable credentials. I'm looking forward to knowing you better.

Buttercup--

Thanks for the kind words.

I've found great comfort in using beloved memories and both old and new symbols to create partial patches over the great, gaping hole in my heart.

Remember we're here if we can help you build a new life.

Hold your dominion.

Ah, Buttercup and Will'o - Great to have you here.

A walk through Central Park will be a nice tradition, indeed. Will the Golden Gates still be up when you go? It would be nice symbolism for the walk.

I imagine Cav is getting a kick out of the Janet Jackson "trick."

(In case you aren't aware of the connection, Buttercup, I'm married to the guy that e-mailed about Cav's music. Really looking forward to that and I know Bear considers it a highest honor.)

Wow. I feel so very, very honored that Cav's wife, brother and good friend have joined us here.

I can't tell you how much that means.

Wow.
