You certainly have every right to be a proud papa.

Hold your dominion.

So I'm at the computer checking E-mail, IM-ing our task dispatcher just to check in, looking at the picutres we took, etc. Yaya is on my lap and says, "I type!"

She starts typing in a notepad window, and accidentally hits WindowsKey-M, which minimizes everything on the screens (basically everything on both screens disappears).

Yaya murmurs, "Oops."

So the Ya-ya hugging Chiquita picture is enough to make me throw away my bc pills...

Figure of speech donchaknow.

Still haven't come to any decisions... every time I think I have I meet a family with two kids 6 years apart, or something...

Anyway, lovely pic indeed.

Today Yaya sees a vacuum cleaner and a mop.

"Vackoom cweaner. And a....?" (This is how she asks for the word for something lately. That's a...? In a...?)

"Mop," I reply.

"Vackoom cweaner and a mop!"

"That's right."

"I confirm it."

Shocked

We were looking through a catalog of Halloween costumes today, trying to get an idea of what Yaya would like to be.

There is now a new villain in town: Darth Elevator.

That's the second time in two days I've seen pictures of my fingernails. I'm in serious need of a manicure.

If you come to the place by me, Momma and Poppa can sit in side by side vibrating chairs, get manis and pedis while Gramma Luxy Nail tends to the babies.

Gramma Luxy Nail is wonderful with babies and lil ole grannies who aren't so well oriented to time and space. She doesn't speak English but she knows how to comfort.

~~~~~~~~~
Ya Ya has some mighty fine hair adornments going on.
Very Happy
Some things I'd forgotten about newborns:
1. The squelch sound when they poop.
2. How tiny they are.
3. How well they fit in the crook of your arm.
4. How much they sleep.
5. How they'll suck on your nose.
6. The alarming colors they turn. (Pale/blue at birth. Bright, bright red when they cry during their first bath.)
