Careful, Cycloptichorn, you've been "noted."

Is that like being "outed?"

You may, if you look at the time/date stamps on the post, be able to realize that we posted ours at the same time, and therefore I hadn't read your latest post.

Quote:
My reference to salon.com to Blatham stems from a conversation we were having on another thread, the genesis of which was Blatham attacking the sources of several conservative posters -- specifically Townhall and Newsmax. I raised what I perceived as hypocrisy on his part for continuing to post from salon.com. He continues to post from salon.com without acknowledging its liberal/anti-Bush bias. You obviously didn't know that when you posted this, did you?

Irrelevant.

I highly doubt I have any real continuing interest in this manufactured topic. When you have information on note concerning any access to classified documents, then I'd be interested. Until then, this is completely off my radar. Good luck getting the answers to those pressing questions, though.

Face it, Tico, you are completely hosed in this argument; you're just continuing for argument's sake, but have absolutely no base with which to argue anything at all accept the bias of websites. If, as you say, it's not worth your 'interest' anymore, than I guess we won't see you wasting our time in this thread any longer, will we?

You still haven't corrected your mistatement, so I'm not sure why you pointed out our cross-posting. Says a lot about your character.

What argument? You have me confused with someone else?

Cyclops wrote:

The relative bias of websites was my argument, and it was with Blatham, not you .. notwithstanding your obvious trolling ....

Laughing Sounds like you want me to argue for the sake of arguing. Trust me, I'll argue when I want to, not when you want me to.

I was advised that Andrew Sullivan posted there, as if that assuaged any concerns I had that it was exclusively liberal. Not that Sullivan would be a panacea, but it doesn't appear he's posted there in a while. I've not been made aware that they have any other conservative contributors. But I await your research.

Sullivan is one that I had in mind. There is another guy that I remember reading, though. I want to say Michael Savage but that can't be right so I will do what I promised now and go dig.

In the mean time, everybody try not to eat each other.

Laughing But it's lunchtime ..... Fried Dookie would go well with some Cyclops stew .....

I don't think Sullivan has contributed there in over a year, from what I could determine.

Ok, the other conservative writer I was thinking of is David Horowitz. I did a search for his articles on salon and it appears he hasn't written anything for them (except a couple of letters to the editor) since late 2002. Sullivan hasn't written anything of substance for them since late 2003. Still, that's two conservative voices that have been heard on Salon. I'd be surprised to see the same on the other two sites mentioned.

All in all, I can agree that Salon.com is a left leaning news magazine, but if you actually take the time to look through it you will find that there is a lot there that has nothing to do with pushing the "liberal agenda" and that is not their sole purpose. Again, this is where it differs, IMO, from the others mentioned.

FreeDuck:

Do you think it is possible to take anything seriously from an individual who is willing to eat "dookie," because lord knows we've heard quite a bit of it already from Ticomaya?

Even fried, it can't possibly taste that good.

((squinney))

I wish I could say more in the grieving threads, but grief is so personal (and I didn't know him well enough to feel so inexplicably sad about his passing), and anything I could write would just sound like a hollow greeting card or something. Anyway, nothing like a little Jeff Gannon to cheer us all up...

Personally, I don't take anyone seriously -- including myself. As for Tico's cuisine preferences, well, one man's dookie is another man's dinner.

I feel much the same way. I didn't know Cav well at all, but was watching the hospital thread, and was under the impression he was doing better. I was stunned and very saddened to hear this morning of his passing.
