Too true. Setanta wears one of my old thumb rings, that I ran over with my car, and lost in a snowdrift, on his pinky - cuz it's from me. Not cuz it's beautiful or valuable.

My mom got this ring for my kid for Christmas that's the coolest -- it's made out of that super-stretchy jelly type stuff (they make stretchy frogs and stuff out of it) with a blinking light in the middle of it...

Looks like it's a minimum of 24, but maybe 24 rings could itself be quite a statement! How long have you been together? One ring for every month you've been together? At $1.29 each, still a whole lot less than an engagement ring...
They're really cool, the kind of thing that everyone has to grab and look at and wear for a while.

I am at her place so yeah I have not been able to reply as often as I would like.
I did propose as intended and she said yes (although it did not go as chronologically planned...we had sex first:(
