There are probably worse things, kicky. How's Edwina Scissorhands, these days? Oh, maybe that wouldn't be a worse thing.

I don't know how she is, really. Edwina seems to have faded to the backburner, for some reason. I haven't talked to her since I went to Rochester a week ago. I haven't called her and she hasn't called me. Well, that's not true. I called her once and made sure not to answer when she called back, because I didn't really want to talk to her. She didn't leave a message. So I guess we're just like, doing our own things right now. Maybe we're over. Not that that would be a bad thing. Hmmm...

Ah, screw it, I don't know! Gimme a glass of something!

I missed the Edie Scissor thing. Well, Kick, maybe not a match made in cielo, or was it?

I myself have not yet listened to a message, undoubtedly a sweet if controlled one, from my exhub. Talk about mixed feelings.

So, I put on Callas good and loud and poured a nice bourbon and plum juice on ice, gads, it's only 4:30 pm. If you see me posting weirder than usual, sometime later - I know that's a tough decision - pm me.

Oh, wait, she was the one with the NAILS.
Prolly not long term..

Very Happy You got it, osso, the one with the nails.

So you're starting early, eh? I'll look forward to your wonderful non sequiturs and tangents, then. I don't have an ex, but it seems to me that a message from one is best left until tomorrow.

I'm having a pasta dish tonight -- don't know what to call it, maybe pomodoro? Almost like a stir-fry but heavy on the tomatos and with shaved old parmesan on top and lotsa fresh cracked pepper. Not bad, but I bet you could make a better one.

Tico, I remember when you were hesitant here on a2k. I am so glad you began to feel comfortable. You add smarts, wit, verve, sense, and basic kindness.

(Oh, but my non sequiturs always have a sequit in my mind at the time, sometimes discernable by me).

I'm not that great an italo type cook, though I have to say, I think I'm a few pegs up on some of the lame weblinks...
I have some familiarity with the cuisine; don't know enough about those who write primarily in italian, which I scramble to read, but not often enough.

IT'S JUST TURNED 2007 HERE!

...and I'm off to bed, once I've drained this rather large Lagavulin.

G'night everyone, I hope 2007 is a good one for all of you.

maybe someone will shop up who knows (Walter, I bet).

So, Walter, a good and happy next year to you.

Lagavulin, I am very fond of Lagvulin. When you come out of your stupor, Lord, tell us about your Lagavulin dreams...

Yes, indeed, Eva.

Around 3:30 in the afternoon.

I fear the air kissing & my general air of sophistication may have put some folk off! (Always wanted to do that! Laughing ) Oops, watch off for my extended cigarette holder!

Requests? Hmmmmm...

Hard to choose. Maybe some egg plant dip with Middle Eastern bread?
For starters.

And some music would be good! Very Happy

Oh, I wouldn't worry about coming across as too sophisticated, msolga.

Mmmmm....drizzled with a good olive oil and topped with a few pomegranate seeds.

What would you like to drink with that?
