Eva's Wine Cellar

I heard about a Love & Beauty party and of course I could not stay away. I am very fond of love and beauty. The more of it, the better. To compensate for my lack of at least one of the two, however, I brought some scrumptuous chocolate cake - ever so slightly crunchy at first bite, but then melts on your tongue. Since I don't drink, I've also brought some cherry juice. It doesn't taste all that great, but it looks wonderful.

That's great, nimh! I love cherry juice, too. It tastes like summer to me. Jacques, bring a couple of nice, chilled glasses for us, will you?

We've been in Paris for a few weeks, nimh. I met these girls there and asked them to come back for the party. They had to leave anyway. Seems even the French didn't approve of their rehearsing in the cathedral. Naughty girls!

Oh no, CJ. People really do make dandelion wine. A bit green for my taste, though. But to each his own.

I am representing the Love & Beauty party, of course! (Looking for running mates, hint, hint) The forerunners today seem to be the Gus/Kicky/Lord Ellpus ticket and the Farmerman/Sozobe/Nimh ticket. It seems that alliances are being formed. Well, I say, why not! And who should know more about alliances than the Goddess of Love & Beauty, I ask you...?

CJ, I believe Eva and Gautam are on the Peace & Love slate. Unfortunately they're not yet doing all too well - Eva currently has 8% of the vote in Primary #3, and Gautam holds just 8% in Primary #1.

Which is a pity, because Eva, darling, you're so right - we've just got to stop the looming A2K-takeover by the likes of Gus and Kicky! They're nice guys, really, but - you know? Luckily, there's alternatives still - for example, Gus is already trailing Sozobe and Kicky is far behind Farmerman in primary #2! He's a good soul, Kicky, I'm sure he'll be right here - he'll see the light still!

Yes, I am happy to see that Soz and Farmerman are ahead of Gus/Kicky/L.E., but S&F do tend to be a little too serious at times. Gautam and I have our priorities (ahem) straight. (Sorry, G, you know what I mean.) Lest you forget, Gautam is an international banker, and I am a public relations specialist. Don't underestimate us.

Of course, now that we're actively lobbying,
we also will hear the causes dear to your heart,
and will address them, once we're elected.
