Well, shewolf. No wonder you call yourself a witch instead of a Shaman:

HAHA!!
He might like that letty... !

Interesting article. I feel that way also. I hate to see people claim to have certain knowledge and abilities that are almost no longer possible. On top of that, they claim to have these abilities simply because they have opened a book.
I call myself a witch because I am. The technical defination is quite a few things I disagree with but most of wich applies to me:

Main Entry: 1witch

Etymology: Middle English wicche, from Old English wicca, masculine, wizard & wicce, feminine, witch; akin to Middle High German wicken to bewitch, Old English wigle divination, and perhaps to Old High German wIh holy -- more at VICTIM
1 : one that is credited with usually malignant supernatural powers; especially : a woman practicing usually black witchcraft often with the aid of a devil or familiar : SORCERESS -- compare WARLOCK
2 : an ugly old woman : HAG
3 : a charming or alluring girl or woman
4 : a practitioner of Wicca
5 : WITCH OF AGNESI

Of course, remove the referrance to the Devil , and so called ' black magick' and there ya have it.
HAHAH!! the dictionary even includes HAG... oy
I can be that too. Laughing

I get the feeling you may be a witch also? Possibly? Maybe? I wont tell HONEST!! ( crossing fingers ) Laughing

All I can tell ya is that she is one gorgeous witch. I don't know if I am a witch, but I took one of those silly religion tests online and turned out to be pagan. Suits me to a T.

Wolf woman, I just call myself a witch because I was born on Halloween, but I often have senses that can't be explained and that's real.

Diane, ahhhhh. You just say that to make me feel better. It's true, of course. Razz

When I saw all your photos, I found it hard to respond, because you are all so lovely and seemed so happy.

And for Vivien:

Paint yourself a highway; use your imagination; sail across the spectrum, right in our direction.

With love from me.

UhOh, Misti. You just reminded me of a song, but I don't think it's Irish.

" ...every road has its turning; that's one thing I'm learning....."

Don't get me started, honey. Rolling Eyes

Letty, I did some googleing on Brubect and found this;
Quote:
By 1959, he recorded the first jazz instrumental piece to sell a million copies, entitled Desmond's Take Five (in 5/4 meter), which was released with his own Blue Rondo a la Turk (in 9/8, grouped 2+2+2+3). Only Max Roach preceded Brubeck in the successful integration of irregular meters and jazz forms.

interesting yes?

Laughing Dys, I did the same thing today. Thanks for the laugh and the BREW beck....

Misti, you beautiful daffy dil. Made me think of Wordsworth.

"..and oft when on my couch I lie,
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye,
which is the bliss of solitude.

Then my heart with rapture fills,
And dances with the daffodils..."

Thanks to all in the incredible lightness of being.

Letty, you are the QUEEN OF BEAUTIFUL WORDS ... I reread what you wrote several times, such visuals they produced and now they're part of my meditation moments!

If I show you a picture would you create the words?

Misti, I often think back to the Realm and illustrated poetry. Gen did it effortlessly. Honey, I will do what I can. I know nothing about posting pictures. EhBeth was gracious enough to recreate a missing moment in my life.

Please do, I would love to get in the blythe spirit of poetry again.

Misti, how about the original writing forum. You are a savior of lost thoughts.

I think of shewolf and her lovely face; Rae and you in sweet, small trace; Diane and her cowboy dys. The smallness of the baby's kiss.

Letty staying up all night; Urs and big dice, chef's delight.

Panz and Roger in their place. Waiting with reflective face.

Tomorrow then?

With love from Letty of the North.
