@jerlands,

I love this verse because it sums up much regarding the Hope that I have.
Even if something cannot be 110% confirmed.

But I gotta say, living since 1940 with no food is an extremely tough thing to believe. Just not as much evidence as 1. an intelligent designer 2. That designer is the ‘God of Israel’

@Helloandgoodbye,
Perhaps you can settle something for me. Does the sun revolve aound the earth or does the earth revolve around the sun? I'm just trying to determine how much longer I can follow along.

Stories just need to exist, which is the only reason the Bible exists

@jerlands,
When I was at school, the head of RE was a vicar. He took a lot of assemblies. In one of them he talked about other Christian groups he'd met. He stayed with two sisters who were from an obscure denomination but couldn't find anything different about them.

At the end he asked them, and the response was that they live by breathing. He said that everyone does, but they said that's all they do, just breathe, no food or water necessary. He said that he'd seen them eat and drink to which the response was that they weren't very good at it.

That's not a joke.

@Helloandgoodbye,
Quote:
Life forms like high technological bacteria(single called organisms) being created by ocean vents, sand chemical ‘soups’ is far from fact as you can get. Just as believing in whales with legs, reptiles with feathers, and half monkey/man creatures. backwards thinking.

Tell us about the whales, reptiles and monkeys.

That sounds like the zoo.. There's probably one in your area. Personally though I think it inhumane. Things we do to satisfy our desires.

Isn't it obvious? Do you really need someone to spell it out for you?

When you've got yourself an education you might be ready to talk to grown ups.
