Mine have a covered cat box with a charcoal filter. I think it helps, and they seem to like the privacy.
My cat's box is covered, I didn't find the filter to make much of a difference. My sense of smell is pretty well shot, I think from the years I smoked.
I think my sense of smell must be coming back, because the last two nights he has been killing me with the monster shits...hey, my sense of smell is coming back!

So what happened with the computer?
I am so weak.
So, I still hadn't responded to her query about whether she could use it. This morning, I was groggy, PJ'd and just starting a cuppa coffe when she came into my room, made small talk and then asked if she could check her email when I wasn't using the computer. I am a total wuss. I said, in a small, defeated voice, ok. But, I figure I can still redeem my self by telling her no "after having thought about it a bit more".
So, when she moved into the apt. she bought a dresser from a guy in town, they've been friends since even though he moved a few towns away. He'll come to visit once in a while and she'll use him to take her shopping or out to lunch or to fix her computer..... She tends to only having him over when she's got a love-interest. Anyway, he's here now, they went out for lunch and now he's cooking them dinner. She's doing homework and laundry. She's not even hanging out with him.

Hey, it's not that big a deal. You only have a short time left with her anyway. You're just too nice. That's not such a bad thing to be.

She sure knows how to work her crowd, doesn't she.
I'd say you could learn something from her, but I really don't think that's at all a good idea.
