Do you think it'd be a good idea to speak to your landlady (about your solo lease idea) before your potential tenant speaks to her? (this would be purely for your own peace of mind, knowing that the next round (!) will be a lot more straightforward for you.)

I have to figure out the legalities of the rent thing. I certainly can't afford more than my own share of rent. I'd be happy in this case, to sort of manage the place.

oy. i did not get my ducks in a row yet. I taught the last real class of the semester yesterday though, now I'm freeeeeeee until february! Well, I will still work, but i might have nights and weekends occasionally to self and catch up with real life.
