Just about how it looked today. Soon though the trees will be budding and the grass is already greening up some.

You guys must have like 10ft of snow by now, lol! Sorry, we are always the ones getting all the snow, so I can't help but find this a bit amusing

Which way's Goshen?
We have a Pink Plastic Flamingo that decided to spend the winter outside. From what I can see (still a bit before dawn) there is a small pink island in a sea of white. That tells me we got about a foot and a half.

Mass. faces task of digging out from historic storm
It didn't cause as much damage as the Blizzard of '78, but it dumped more snow in Boston than any storm since records have been kept. The powerful blizzard that swept through Massachusetts Monday and early today dropped 27.5 inches of snow at Logan International Airport (BOSTON) -- the largest accumulation since snow records started being kept in 1892. (AP, 8:49 a.m.)

Took me two hours to shovel half my driveway, and I couldn't go out the front door, because the snow was almost up to the doorknob.
I hate this weather.

This is NY, yesterday, during a lull in the blizzard...
Bahston got it worse than this?
(My wife was attempting to make her quarterly trip to Rockland yesterday; she got as far as Atlanta Hartsfield. Had lunch there and came back.)

Up to the doorknob! Wow.
Are any of you having any FUN? I haven't been in a Major Snowstorm in probably... 6 years? '97 in Madison was probably the last one. But I remember them as being a pain AND a lot of fun. Is that just selective memory?

That NY shot looks about the same as Boston. I think the snow at slappy's door was a drift. There was a lot of drifting - almost NO snow on branches of trees.... Weird. It's fun and a pain, yep.

That is a lot of snow!!!! I was there in 78 and it wasn't pretty. I know this one wasn't as bad because they saw it coming and the winds were not even close to as strong as in 78. I really feel for all of you that have to go out and shovel the stuff though! Where are they putting it all?

Anyway, it's supposed to be warm(er) in the next few days. We're getting cooked with 4o-something degrees. Time to lay out in the sun.
