Ditto this ditty.

I like that picture, too. All three beautiful women with sparkly eyes, obviously each a livewire!

I noticed this morning that there was a counter for the number of clicks today under each of the three click buttons. (These have probably always been there and I'd never noticed in my rush.) But today, after I clicked, I went back to that page & refreshed it, expecting to/hoping to see my small effort counted. It had been 1,202 (I was expecting to see 1,203) but instead it had gone up by four clicks to 1,206. Yay.

I wonder if somebody here was clicking at the same time I was?

you just noticed the counter?

Shocked

you have been in a rush!

in the earliest days of this series of threads there was some discussion of why each of us clicked the way we did. some of us clicked on whichever option was most meaningful to us, others always clicked on the lowest counter, another group tried to equal out their personal clicks among the choices

The pic of littlek, pwayfarer and me <sigh>
That was such a wonderful day.
I'd like to have more walking time with pwayfarer - and more talking time. It was great finding points of commonality that we couldn't have imagined.

Terrific photo, ehBeth! Smile

You arn't going to believe this, but I have the same picture frame! <brown with gold trim> from your photo!

A painting of worn cowboy boots <placed on a rustic cabin porch step>
I luv the depiction - and the frame sets off the colors beautifully!

Yep- that was a great day, with all three wildclickers on the same page.

There is a drift against my garage wall which is seven feet high. When I can get out, after the storm(it's still snowing and the wind is raging), I'll try to get some photos to post. Change that to IF I can get out. Every door has at least three feet of snow piled up against it.
If the electricity holds, I think I'll watch "La Gloire de mon Pere" tonight. It will be nice to be in sunny Provence.

Has anybody come up with a good name for our mule? Once we hit 40 acres, that is.

I mean, really, I remember reading a promise from somebody about:

"40 acres and a mule"

I'm taking it for granted that some of you fine folks are celebrating One-Tooth Ree's Landing Day.

The way I heard the story, distilled through frail and faulty memory, is that Mr. Ree was a Korean gentleman, best known for a voyage of exploration, marked by a landing on this very day of the year. Because of violent fisticuffs and imperfect dental hygiene, he had lost all of his teeth except one, thus the nickname "One-Tooth Ree". -- Written on 1/23/05

Today is at once a glad and a sad day.

Glad because Aa has rejoined us -

and sad because Johnny Carson passed away.

We baby boomers will miss him.

Dys and I have returned from a two week RV trip to the east. It is soooo good to be back in, comparatively, warm New Mexico. We had a great time visiting with friends--friends always have a way of warming up the chilliest setting.

Thanks, Bethie, for clicking for me.

Good thoughts to all of you freezing in the north east!!
