Thinkzinc, great to see you again.

I keep hoping to see your name in the philosophy forum. I so enjoyed the work you'd done at your site in this area.

Oh, I was just looking at my site today, Beth! I noticed I had not touched it since 2003! Surprised Not enough hours in the day, unfortunately. A2K is great though, I should drop by here more often! I got your Aktbird email today, and that's what encouraged me to drop by Very Happy

Puter's down at home.
That'll teach me to try to tidy up the puter's innards Confused

Hopefully it won't have to go to the hospital.

Thanks for the new thread and that wonderful site, ehBeth. I should have known that something was afoot when I stopped getting topic reply notifications.

But I've been a clicking. Wonderful weather here in the low 70's, last week and again this week. Our January thaw? Sorry about your weather, Stradee.

sumac, living in the mountains, one can expect cold weather during the winter months. What I didn't expect was half the porch innundated with a wavering plant/tree! It's quite lovely during spring with cascading branches filled with clusters of yellow flowers though. Worth the extra work.

ehBeth, the link really terrific, thanks.

Here's a photo of the plant during last years Spring bloom. Keeping fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for the same results next Spring <after today's trimmings> The tree cascades and branches bloom clusters of yellow flowers.

If it is a form of rose, then I know precisely what it is. Let me know.

sumac, here's a link to the larger photo. I'd sure like to know what the name of the plant is also. Thanks

Stradee,

I may be wrong, but it looks to me like a Rosa Banksiae lutea, or Lady Banks rose, from the class of Antigue roses. Go to the link below, and review the images from #3 onward. Does it look like yours?
