Anybody ever tasted mead...how does it compare?
I don't think I have, but I suspect it wouldn't taste much like beer. It's made from fermented honey and water, no? Sounds a bit sickening, come to think of it, but it would be fun to hear from someone who's actually drunk the stuff!

Mead is for sale at a wine shop that my friend works in. I suppose I could buy a bottle and report back, since no one is stepping forward to tell us what it's like!
