I will never understand why there are so many preservatives
in American beer.

aw cj I'm sad. But not much.

I'm drinking the fruit of the vine. From Chile. Full of antioxidants/antibushidents.

Are you guys going to hang Scooter?

Our Californian wines are also antibushidents, despite having
a blackened egg in the basket. Wink

Right! But the prince of darkness was a
gentleman - which we don't have in our case.

Has anyone had Sapporo Dark? I love this beer, but haven't been able to find it in the US in several years. Sad

Our local brewery recently released a new beer called Bourbon County Stout. WOW! This is not for the faint of heart. This stout makes Guiness look like Miller Lite. It is limited production, only available in four packs so I bought three of those and am letting one age until a batch comes out next year.

Sounds like strong medicine, sublime1! I'm more of an IPA than a stout drinker, but I certainly would want to try that stuff...

I had a really good beer latley. Stone brewery out of San Diego Ca.

A gargoyle is their trademark. I got there most popular brew, stone pale ale. It was very good. The best beer I've had in years. I think they have a good future.

Littlek has been bragging about Arrogant Bastard Ale for a long time. As have a couple other members. Its not available for me locally but I did order some online and I have to agree that that is an excellent beer.
