I wish I could remember a beer I was drinking in NYC a couple weekends ago. Good stuff, and I never heard of it, so it's probably not in MA. Dammit.
Thats a common problem with good beer.

A gargoyle is their trademark. I got there most popular brew, stone pale ale. It was very good. The best beer I've had in years. I think they have a good future.
Littlek has been bragging about Arrogant Bastard Ale for a long time. As have a couple other members. Its not available for me locally but I did order some online and I have to agree that that is an excellent beer.
I put the floor in their new brewery in San Diego. The character of the people who own, run and brew the beer their made me want to try the beer. There young, down to earth and seemed more concerned with making good beer rather then selling it.
Amigo, I've tried their beer (Stone pale ale) but it had
an extreme bitter aftertaste.
Belgian beer is quite tasty - sweet and addictive!

Have you tried the Chimay Ales?
It is brewed by the Trappist Monks, great beer but a little pricey.
Yes I have sublime, that's good beer, ha?
Yes, expensive but so worth it.
Chimay Ales are ok...Chimay White Belgian 8%
Ive had better, anyone tried Youngs Double Chocolate Stout
my god thats yummy!
mmmmmmmmmmm..... stone ales! Calamity, the bitter is the good part!
I first had Arrogant Bastard in the restaurant at the Grand Canyon (can't remember the name) several years ago. I knew the bottle, I loved the beer, I forgot the name. It took years to find it (my lost love!).

I didn't think so and I prefer lagers. Maybe you'll try it again.
I also liked these guys because they were enviromentally conscious and all their employs seemed very happy. Besides I know San Diegans love to support San Diego. Right?
But thats not why I like the beer thats just why I gave it a chance. I believe such a company with such a product derserves a good word of mouth.
Now skip the bullsh!t and lets all go out and have a stone brew.
(I should work for these guys)
Has anybody ever not had a beer in a really long time, then when it's hot and your thirsty you get a regular old ice cold American beer and you almost pound the whole thing in one gulp and you can swear it's the best beer ever made.
I love beer.
Now if you're talking ale, bitter or IPA, as opposed to lager, then you should look out for these breweries:
Badger
Greene King, or
Fullers.
Badger........."Tanglefoot", "Fursty Ferret" or "Golden Glory"
Greene King: "Abbot Ale"or "IPA"
Fullers: "London Pride" or "Fullers ESB"
IMO, London Pride and Abbot are what I first look for, when I'm scanning the pumps at the bar.
Lagers: Leffe(excellent when ice cold), Fischers, Amstel and anything from Belgium, apart from the weird fruit ones.

You're spot on!
I always like the bit when I wipe my chin and go "AAAAH!", and then go back to the fridge for another, which will be drunk at a slower pace.
Eh, american standards Bud, miller, coors, etc) are nasty, no matter how desperate I am...... Actually, I feel that way about all the pilsners and lagers I've ever had.

Sound like me a year ago..... have you been to their website?
I spent two weeks staining their concrete floors in their new brewery pictured in their web site. They were very picky put cool at the same time.
My friends and I, here in the NW, are obnoxiously snobbish about our local breweries. But we give props to others as well, and they include Stone and Dog Fish Head...
I am the same way with Goose Island.
Stone, Dogfish Head, Rogue, and Bells are some of my other favorites.
Has anyone else had any of the Goose Island beers?
I had a nice draft at O'Hare recently, sublime1, while waiting for a flight. I forget which Goose Island beer it was, but it went down a treat!
I haven't seen Goose Head - I'll try and keep an eye out for it.
