I don't know either of those breweries.

Hey, Gus, have you tried this beer?

I've tried it, didn't much like it. But, I'd rather drink bud than zima (yech!).

I had a thai beer called Chang in HK recently. LOVED it !! (and this is from a non-beer drinker)

Nope, haven't tried it, K, but I did see it on top of the "worst beers" list somewhere.

Are you trying to poison me?

p.s. I bet you've been tempted to try and squeeze "Tequiza" into the triple word slot over at the scrabble site.

I like how the lime is 'natcheral'. The other 98% can be toxic sludge that causes tumors in rats, but 'natcheral' lime is good for you!

I just opened a bottle of Chaucer's Mead.
The bottle came with two bags of spices and the directions say to warm up the mead and let the bags steep for 10 minutes. Seven minutes left.

Similar to a hot apple cider, a little bit sweeter but it still has a bite.
Definitley my drink of choice if I was battling dragons and plundering villages all day. As it turns out I think I will stick to beer.

Since there were only two spice packs I did the only reasonable thing. I poured half the bottle into a glass and warmed it up luckily it is only 11% alcohol so I should still be ok after I finish.

Sounds like a great winter drink.

I just savored a nice IPA by a local brewer: Hale's Mongoose IPA. I have no idea what the mammal has to do with it, but it's really tangy!

I got mede once, it was too sweet for me. Maybe over ice cream?

Working on my second stone IPA....

Stone Brewery is wonderful. As we know, they created Arrogant Bastard and Double Bastard, two fantastic IPAs.

Just returned home from my pub. Sunday night means many taps are empty. Had to settle for Pike Place IPA, a wee bit insipid...

True enough! Or one of those low carb options. I had one once in Tulsa, OK. I'll leave it at that...

I've never even considered trying a low-carb beer (pats beer belly).

Pretty much all light domestics are "low carb." Whoever the marketing "genius" who threw some treadmills in the Michelob Ultra commercials got some praise I'm sure. Miller Lite is pretty much the same carb count as Mich Ultra.
