I just turned 18, I started using meth as a "one" time thing mid summer.
"One time" yeah, that didn't turn out as planned..
I've reached out for help and told my mom (I broke her heart, and madly disappointed her) she got me into drug counseling and I went a couple times and was sober about a week and half and then I relapsed and stopped going to counseling.
I'm off the hook, I can feel it taking away my morals, dignity, and soul.
I'm not myself anymore, and many people realize that.
How do I find the strength to get clean? I DO want it for myself, it's just so hard.
I'm too young for this lifestyle, but then again no matter the age nobody's ready for this lifestyle.
I just want help and advice on how to get and stay sober!?
P.S. I don't want to tell my mom again, she's unhealthy and stress doesn't do her no good. Plus I'm terrified to let her down like that again..
Thanks for your time.

@Bp18,

it's certainly not too late to take back control of your life.

quit using, go back to counseling, and dump your abusive boyfriend.

you can do this...

@Bp18,
See my response to your other topic.

I would add - your mother loves you and wants you to be okay. Yes, telling her would be stressful. But it would also show her how close you feel to her.

A lot of addicts relapse. It's almost a given with addictions of any sort - drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, you name it.

Getting clean is a process. It's probably going to be a lifelong process.

One thing you might want to do is means blocking. By that I mean: keep the paraphernalia out of your home. Don't hang around with anyone who uses (and yes, I mean your abusive boyfriend, too). Don't go to the places where dealers hang out. Physically separate yourself from everything to do with meth. It's not a perfect solution but you should not be immediately looking for perfect solutions. Instead, you should be looking for decent solutions which will help you get by as you get stronger.

You can do this.
