I only ever feel bad when the team I backed
concedes a goal.
If they concede another,as happened on Tues,I feel terrible.

ok, ok, now to the dream......do you think that this:

Quote:
There is something wrong with vaginas. They lead innocent young men down the rocky road to perdition.

Is in any way related to this?:

Quote:
There was a little black imp performing on a stage a little like Dylan from the back row.I was in the audience.A large cat about 50 times bigger than the imp strolled onto the stage and gobbled it up just like that,as Tommy Cooper used to say,and stalked off.I woke up.My first thought, remembered distinctly, was "that's the last of my subconscious."

And I did check out the cost of the Hughes book last night as the Trazadone was taking effect....I found one for $100.00....not bad. If it's the best I can do, I'll buy it. But I'll look a bit longer.......I once paid $100.00 for a Brautigan only to find it later for $7.95. So I'll check it out.

Let me know the answer to my question please and your team will march on to victory.

Sometimes its better than some other times, but all in all, its not unlike fishin' - and a couple other things that come immediately to mind  ; gettin' any is better than gettin' none.

how undescriminating of you Timber.......but it does represent a contrast to spendius's ecomonic considerations.

fishin.....can be fun, but you're known by the company you keep. Your company is fine, but I hope you're not including me and my liberal ideas in the ignoramus catagory. I'd rather be better than better than nothing.

And I'd never compare the other thing to fishin......there's no room for ignoramuses there. Intelligent skill, experience and a lot of energy are required...........absolutely. Not to mention a dirty mind.........

Trazadone???Knock out stuff ain't it?
That's deliberately shorting your life.Whadya wanna do that for?Its short enough as it is.

I was 3 hours going off the other night through laughing.I saw an item on CBS News about a Yank racing pigeon that had tested positive and I was imagining blatham writing an article about the case and the hearing and the disqualification and the appeal etc etbloody cetera.I love lying awake watching the sky and the trees and stuff and running paterns through my head that the days have shown me.Word patterns of course. That's how we all got into this mess in the first place. The Greeks seem to have started it off.It was probably due to looking for a helminthagogue for the Elusinian Mysteries.

Words lovely words. With curiosity and observation.

Are you implyin' the hierophantes had need of a vermifuge?!? Or perhaps Demeter and Persephone themselves? Boy, that sure opens a can o' worms.

My daughter, blatham now you..........Bernie and my daughter tell me this while making ample use of their nicotene. Perscription drugs can be good for you. I have a tendency to stay up all night, doing stuff and thinking, writing and playing, designing, plotting, arguing, doin that other thing.....I've just got to stop sometime, somehow......so it's Trazadone for me. And my neurologist agrees. Migranes and cigarettes shorten a life as well.

(Short lives short lives short lives <slap myself in the face> stop obsessing and get on with it Lola. Make the most of what you get and leave the mourning until tomorrow.)

But yes, words, wonderful words..........

now back to your associations about Damascus........what comes to mind?

Lola-

I don't ever stop my thoughts.Which ones do you want. The ones when I'm gazing at your Avie eh?
I better not. It'll only make you strut.
I'm pondering Lancaster's psychiatrist's fate in Local Hero. What a movie that was.The only thing it didn't have was a foot wrong. Those webbed feet.
Aphrodite with an honours degree.Lancaster played a sky watcher and the handful of dust stumped him.
Why did he have a psychiatrist.I love American movies.Stan Laurel was born just up the road.
I was thinking about a movie last night in bed.No idea which one.timber might know.It was about a young ambitious man who stole a showgirl's photo from a display outside the theatre and took it back to his hotel room.Natch she's soon in love. There's nothing like that in our stuff. Its probably a tragedy.Perdition again.Like Titanic.
As of right now I'm thinking about this British Blue shorthair tom kitten who is climbing up my shirt.I can't tell you his name because its my password. He is evolved to perfection. He's a right lazy pussy.

Any good?

spendius, the blue Tom..........you give me work. Wait a minute and I'll get my siffter.........humm

Off to Goggle Local Hero......haven't seen it in a while. Was that the one in which the psychiatrist was left hanging upside down outside his office window, looking in? I'll do my research.....but now we're into my associations....so what's that going to tell us about your dream?

I had a Russian Blue once.......well actually he was a stray that befriended me and I him. He was gloriously strong and must have covered a 50 mile radius each night.........loved that cat!

I'll be away tomorrow.....returning soon.

That's exactly right timber.
I don't think Demeter or Persephone bothered abour vermifuges. They'd have no cause.

It starts with that bloody Tiamat. But she has thousands of aliases. You're right about the can of worms.Do you think they are getting loose again.?

Ever heard of "Chicken consciousness."?I have a book about it which claims it is the main religion in the movie industry.A throwback to Babylon and the whore therin.Convoy has a brilliant "chicken" scene.
So has Eraserhead."The sun's not yellow-its chicken".That's Tombstone Blues.What a song.

spendius -

Heard of chicken consiousness? Hell, partner, I raise the critters - they can be meaner to one another than web forum participants! Laughing

Dunno as we have much cause to worry about Tiamat; Marduk/Ashur did for her quite suitably and finally - else how other would there be here-and-now?

And I'd wager its you and me alone with the annalidae and dragons at side-discussion - this absolutely has gotta be one of the most esoteric digressions in which I've ever participated. I'm impressed. Laughing
