Was an e-mail passed around the plant yesterday about a diver whose suit contained a hose for pumping heated water into it... The water intake picked up a jelly... got pumped up into his nether regions...

I don't think Alice Springs for much these days - and here's the mundane bit of history:

Dear Auntie Lowan

Where oh where is that Craven Coward hiding these days. I've not seen him around his own domain for weeks. If he is still hiding under my bed could you ask him to tidy up down there?

And why oh why, when I click on the link at the top of the page that says

View topics with posts since your last visit (328)

it says that there nothing that matches my search criterea?

Pfuie!

For pueo, who is crazily thinking of coming to Sydney, here are the links to the virtual tour that happened last year - starts half way down the first one and continues into the second:

Have fun!

I'll post these into the A2k Oz convention thread as well - when I can find it again!

Dear Seal,

Alas, poor Craven is horribly busy at his new job - the Masked Marvel is toiling his little butt off - I fear you will have to clean under your own bed - I suspect, if he makes it under there, it will be to nod off!

I wonder what would be a big enough carrot to tempt him to wend his weary way here to play? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............

Re the posts since you last asked thingy - when you click that li'l smegger, have you been on a2k long? It really is since your last visit - and, if you have been clocked in by a2k anywhere at all, it will start its little search clock all over again.

Have you tried "view posts from the last 24 hours" in lieu?

Hmmmmmmm - I am sure either Msolga or myself would be pleased to see you.

Melbourne is a lovely city - great comedy and theatre and lovely country-side around to visit, like the Grampians.

Adelaide and South Australia generally are full of subtle pleasures - beautiful beaches (wintry in May, though) - fabulous wineries and food - some lovely country - especially if you go to the Flinders Ranges....

s'always the first thing I do...

Mebbe I'm confused, but isn't Posts from the last 24 hours the actual posts? It's too much like all punchline, no joke, to read these threads backwards.

Dear Aunty Lowan

1. I drank too much last night. There is something abt 15 yr old single malt which causes uncontrollable cycle of bottle, pour, drink, bottle, pur, drink...ad infinitum. Do u know any cure ?

2. I have a 12 hr overnight flight tonite to Jo'burg. I have big problems in sleeping next to an unknown person. Any suggestions ?

Dear Gautam,

1. Just enjoy it while it lasts, the money will run out sooner or later

2. Get to know them first, then sleep next to them !

What Hiama said!!!!!

(Hiama - that is WEIRD!!! Are you me? I mean it really is weird - that is EXACTLY what I would have said)

Only, Gautam - drink LOTS of water today and have at least two multi-B supplements - Berocca is good - but a few hours apart from each other - hangover dehydration and 12 hour flights are not a good combination - you might want to have an aspirin a bit before your flight.

And stop boasting about getting to drink 15 year old single malt, you lucky bastid! I am almost drooling...

Yeah, I know a cure - send ME all your 15 year old single malts. I will happily accept two 8 yr old blended scotches as a substitute. In exchange I will send you a daily update of the detrimental effects of these poisons on your body (extent of hangovers, time spent driving the porcelain bus), the number of drinking establishments you would have been thrown out of, arrests for offensive behaviour (specify types), streaking (specify sporting code), fights entered into (specify nationality of opponent/s) and location of gutter for waking up in (will send list of postcodes).

Dlowan or should I say HIAMA, of course I am you, after all you're me right ! . I'm surprised you had to question it in public.

Talk of single malts has led me into the realms of nostalgia, I remember my good friends in no particular order:-

The Macallan, Talisker, Springbank, Glenmorangie, The Glenlivet, Lagavulin, Bowmore and of course Highland Park-mmmmm-zzzzzz
