Dear Auntie Lowan,

The boobs at Apple are also looking out for ladies, or vice versa.

They are searching for gals willing to promote their latest gadget.

If you think this device might go over down under, would you be at all interested in modelling it?

If so, I can arrange for someone to touch bass with you.

margo, I don't think the noise would be all that intrusive if you have a small set of hooters.

Bill, I'm sure we generally think like two peas in an iPod, but you gotta understand, this here beauty is based on the latest micro-chip technology, maybe even nano.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot ... though the device was designed initially with a view to high-definition, upgrade kits are available for older players, even those with floppies.

Uh, sorry Auntie, got carried away. Spring fever, or something, I suppose. Today's the last day of Winter. Last day of Summer there, I guess, what with all our todays being yesterdays down there.

Whatever, happy Autumn, season of mists and mellow fruitfulness! Close bosom- oops, sorry, forget the bosom, friend. Sad

I love Autumn.....but now we are all just watching the skies (through the shrivelled trees) and hoping it remembers to rain, mist just won't cut it!!!

I'm down on the luvverly south coast - feels like autumn here. Temp about 25C, been to the gym and for a swim and the water is freeeeezing! (making hooters exceptionally small!) Bit humid, but otherwise, absolutely magic weather - forecast is for rain, but not in sight so far!

Perhaps we're sending our rain your way, Deb. It stopped pouring here an hour ago, first letup in 36 hours. Some nearby areas got as much as 11" in 30 hours.

Right here we got 6.4" in the 24-hrs ending at noon today, 1/10" shy of the 24-hr record set back in 1910. Boy, I remember that one, even though I was a mere stripling at the time. Frogs were falling out of the sky. You can read about it, if you're of a mind to look it up. Hell and Highwater, we called it.
