This is the truth. I woke up singing Homer and Jethro's parody on "Settin' the Woods on Fire." Those guys were really good musicians, Debacle.

And I bet brand x likes Diana Krall. K.D.Lang was fantastic singing the songs from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil:

Skylark

Skylark' have you anything to say to me"
Won't you tell me where my love can be"
Is there a meadow in the mist
where someone's waiting to be kissed"

Skylark' have you seen a valley green with spring
where my heart can go a journeying
over the shadows and the rain
to a blossom covered lane"

And in your lonely flight
haven't you heard the music in the night'
wonderful music'
faint as a will o' the wisp' crazy as a loon'
sad as a gypsy serenading the moon.

Oh' skylark' I don't know if you can find these things
but my heart is riding on your wings.
So if you see them anywhere
won't you lead me there"

Oh' skylark' I don't know if you can find these things
but my heart is riding on your wings.
So if you see them anywhere
won't you lead me there"

Sorry, Deb. Don't know any Delphi songs. Smile

Many many years ago when I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow who was pretty as could be.

This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.

To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.

For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.

My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She's my grandmother too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.

For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa!

Good grief. There's dys. I'm my own Grandpa?

Brand X. Diana Krall is a young woman who plays nice piano and sings a lot of the old stuff. One tune that she does, (not my favorite) is "Nobody Does Me Like You Do."

Hello all, I have a question? How long do you think it'll take to read the entire thread?

Don't think I'll be attempting it any time soon........but I'd imagine a question is at least required when entering, so again, hello...

Dys great song, who sings it?
