Who? Moi? I am an innocent, though I confess these Roamin' words are strange. "For I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and big words Bother me."

Of course love is a form of madness!!!! Modern studies of the physiology of the "in love" process confirm it!

Thanks, marycat & cav! I love the horoscope...sounds just like us Librans! (hee hee)

I never EVER work on my birthday, so tomorrow I think I will do as it says and be part of the problem for a change. What a good idea! Twisted Evil

A common attitude among ancient Greek and Roman writers who had attained their maturity was that love was a display of mild mental illness.

Yes, striking such an intellectual pose made it easier for the occasional student who was smitten with his cynical, crapulous teacher. (I wanted to go for crapulous professor, for the near-alliterative value of it, but I don't think they had tenure back then. Too bad, too, or the Roman Empire would have remained standing out of sheer useless inertia.)

Dear Auntie Coney:

Does the water in your toilet bowl swirl in the wrong direction when you flush?

Well, there is broken - and broken.

I have to turn the water off, because it is leaking out all the time - but it still flushes when I turn the water back on - however, I think I am reaching the bucket of water instead of the flush stage!

I have not had the money to get it fixed - and now it is a holiday weekend - I will need to take a day off work to be able to get it done...
