I don't understand why you would be jealous Ms Bunny - Bo's got nothing on you:

You got two ears, Bo's got two - ah, errrrr, I get your point Cool

Digressing to an old cultural tale...

So, I'm out in the woods with my brother the other day. Got our full packs, the whole bit. Anyway, we're tromping through the ponderosas and suddenly we pop out into this meadow. Now, on the other side of the meadow is a mama bear and her two cubs, and she scents us right away. She's clearly alarmed, and looks as though she might turn aggressive. She's only about a hundred yards away. So I quietly drop my pack, open it out, take out my tennis shoes and start unlacing my boots.

My brother looks at me like I'm mad. "What are you doing?" he says. "Black bears can top thirty miles an hour over a quarter mile stretch. You'll never outrun her."

I keep unlacing my boots, not planning on saying anything to my brother there, but a pang of guilt kicks in. I figure I've at least got to give the guy a fighting chance. So, as I'm putting on my shoes, just about got them all laced up, I say to him, "I don't have to outrun the bear. I just have to outrun you." And with that I ran off from whence we came.

I'm still waiting for him to call and let me know he got out all right.

yes, isn't this what the thread is meant to be, Bunny? ravel, unravel......it's the fun of it. I'm with Setanta, Bo Derek has always been lacking in something vital upstairs. Our Bunny is not.

Bo probably still has those braids in her hair. Maybe it's something about being able to let go, unravel.

Or maybe I'm just jealous of her beauty too. Well, ok, I am.......a little.........as well as a bit catty. oops, understatement. Laughing

On the serious side (which everyone knows, I hate and it is also a true digression on this site, ahem) all are judged as to themselves and should not be held to anyone else. If twas not - I would not be Wink

I'm still thinking about whether Patio's brother made it home ok. yikes! he may have become Papa Bear.

actually, i have no brother. (well, i did briefly, but his life ended pre-lingual, so there was never much of a personality to hang that hat on.) but i lived with cousins and my half-sister at various points, and, yes, i did wish for only status.

it's not my joke, though. my insertion of filiality, but the structure is old as rocks. well, some of those young rocks around hawaii and iceland and at the bottom of the atlantic, anyway...
