HI,
So there is a girl who I met first time at a party .My friend introduced me to her .We were both tipsy so we hooked up that night.Whenever we meet after that night ,it was so awkward ,so it difficult to become friend with her .After 5 or 6 months later ,I hooked up with her again and but this time I slept with her.But still It was so awkward whenever we meet outside .So I decided to text her and wanted to ask her out.I can just communicate her by texting because of the awkwardness.So one day ,she started a conversation by saying I should treat her lunch or dinner (maybe as a joke).So I asked her ,when will she be free and tell her we should not be awkward and should hang out sometimes.She avoided that question and change the conversation to another topic .
Is that a sign that she have no interest in me ?
Am I just one night stand?
Sorry for my bad english
@Carz,
Best guess is she's interested but not yet committed. I don't suppose the lunch or dinner thing was a joke.
@Carz,
Of course it's awkward.
******* before/without friendship does not mean you have a relationship with that person.
Try once more inviting her out for a coffee or casual lunch. Suggest two or three specific times. If none are appropriate for her and she doesn't offer an alternative, accept that this is not going to turn into anything.
To my British eyes the term "friends with benefits" always, for a moment, makes me think of something other than what Americans probably do. In Britain, "benefits" are what people get if they are on state welfare, e.g. money to live on, help with rent, free medical prescriptions, etc.
