And a happy Thanksgiving to every one of us. I was fearful that this week could be bad with regards to participation. But 8 of us are in. Panzade always posts last. And I have pms out to El-diablo, George and Ray.

Thanks, Ray. It is great to have you back. But you skipped the Cleveland @ Minnesota game. You need only to post a pick in that game; no need to repeat the other choices.
Still trolling for George and El-diablo...and of course our Panzade-come-late.

I am pleasantly surprised that we managed to end up with a full house of NFL pickers this week I was expecting some absences. The deviation thing is not significant for most of us. In two games, we are unanimous in our choices. In six games we are pretty evenly divided.
But racking up Deviant points this week are Child (36), Dragon (34) and El-diablo. (24). The rest of us are much lower, with Panzade coming in at a mere (2), meaning that he agrees with the majority of the rest of the group in all but one game; a game in which we are closely divided.
I hope yall have a fine day.

For those with one foot already in the bucket...who could foresee the Dallas kicker would shank such an easy kick.?

Ten games are over with. Some of us are in good shape; others are badly bruised.
Fbaezer and Panzade have only one wrong pick each. (Go, Fbaezer). If it were only between those two, it would come down to the Philly-Green Bay game. But lurking right behind with two bad choices are Cowdoc, George, Liontamerx and Ray. Region, Dragon and El-diablo are at three miscues. Stumbling are Johnboy and JPinmilw at four and Child with five mistakes.

The late games appear to be over and here is where we are in Week #12:
At 12-2 is Panzade. Right behind at 11-3 are Fbaezer, Cowdoc, El-diablo and George.
Out of the chase are Region, JPinmilw, Liontamerx and Ray at 10-4. But that is still good when we see Dragon at 9-5, Johnboy at 8-6 and Child of Light dimly at 6-8.
By my reckoning Fbaezer is out of luck this week since he and Panzade have the same picks in the remaining two games. But Cowdoc, El-diablo and George could pull into a tie if New Orleans wins; and George could win outight if, after that, Pittsburgh wins. I'll let you know where we are later.

a 4 way tie...I thought Bollinger would rally the Jets.

How about St Louis's Fitzpatrick...fresh out of Harvard...the kid is fabulous. I've never seen such cool quarterbacking from a rookie. A star is born

A four-way tie, indeed, with Cowdoc, El-diablo, Panzade and George all at 12-3. George is alone in picking Pittsburgh. Ben is reportedly ready to start at quaterback. How rusty he is, or how much his return motivates the Steelers will be interesting to watch. The other three all have Indy, so if they win it will come down to the tiebreaker. Cowdoc says (41); El-diablo (51) and Panzade (52) points in total. El-diablo has only a small window. If the total is 45 or less, the week goes to Cowdoc. 52 or more means a victory for Panzade. El-diablo gets the narrow range between 47 and 51.
Please check in tomorrow for the final Week #12 wrap-up and the schedule for Week #13.

Ben, I am told by Andy, my diehard Steelers fan employee, did look rusty last night. But the truth of the matter is, per Andy, Indy kicked Pitt's butt; offensively and defensively.

So we end Week #12 and some of us kicked butt and a couple of us...

Cowdoc won the week for the second time this season. He came closest to guessing the total number of points. Joining him at (13-3) were El-diablo and Panzade. Close behind at (12-4) were Fbaeser and George. And Dragon, Jpinmilw and Liontamerx finished at (11-5) followed by Region and Ray (10-6). Bringing up the rear were Johnboy (9-7) and Child of Light (7-9). The experts on ESPN outdid us this week with several of them at (14-2).

Updating the cumulative Wins Minus Losses scoreboard, as a group we had our second best week. Individually, Cowdoc is at (56), Panzade (53), Liontamerx (52), Region and Johnboy (44), George and Child (40), Fbaezer (32), El-diablo (31), Dragon (30), Jpinmilw (22) and Ray (12).

The schedule for Week #13 follows. At first glance it looks a little easier, but that is only at first glance.
