Johnboy is still waiting to hear from Dragon and Panzade, and still hopes that Ray will play and Gus will come to his senses. I also need a pick from El-diablo in the Buffalo-San Diego game. Thanks.

4 o'clock already? Where did the day go? Where did my spreadsheet go? Where did my highlighters go? And don't even get me started on where dragon, ray and gus went.
I haven't checked in to ESPN to see how the early games went. As far as the Deviant of the Week, George and El-diablo had Philly; Johnboy, Fbaezer and Child had Chicago; Fbaezer stood alone in choosing Cincy. There was an insignificant spread difference in the Miami-Cleveland game.
Later on, Region is the only player choosing the NY Jets. but gets some company on Monday night from El-diablo in picking Minnesota.

Oh, my. We are not doing very well here, folks, this week. We all had St Louis and Washington and Pittsburgh. Picking through the debris of the early games (and why does the NFL keep moving early games to late and late to early), Johnboy, Child and Lion are at 6-4. A bunch of yall are at 5-5 and one at a little less.

REMINDER: This next week is Thanksgiving and there are a couple of games scheduled for Thursday. Your choices for next week, Week 12, will be coming up shortly.

The late games are over and here is where we are:
At 10-4 are Johnboy, Child of Light and Liontamerx;
At 9-5 are Cowdoc, Jpinmilw, Panzade and George;
Region and Fbaezer are at 8-6 and El-diablo, who left out a game,
is at 7-6. Dragon sent me a pm promising to try to come back next
week and then there was Ray's cryptic message above.
We all have KC tonight and only Region and El-diablo have Minn. So it looks like it will go down to the tiebreaker Monday night. Johnboy smells victory (32 points); Liontamerx (43) and Child of Light (56). I hope it snows in GreenBay tonight and the wind kicks up to, say, 40 mph.

Week 12 schedule, as mentioned, follows shortly. Thanks for playing.

Did Johnboy mention that this weeks's games start early (Thursday, Thanksgiving Day)? He did?
Here is the schedule for Week 12, running from Nov 24th through the 29th. As near as I can tell there is only one conference game: Baltimore at Cincinnati. Season records exclude tonight's and tomorrow night's games:
Thursday:
Atlanta (6-4 for the season) @ Detroit (4-6)
Denver (8-2) @ Dallas (7-3)
Sunday, early games:
Baltimore (3-7) @ Cincinnati (7-3)
St Louis (4-6) @ Houston (1-8)
Carolina (7-3) @ Buffalo (4-6)
San Francisco (2-8) @ Tennessee (2-8)
New England (6-4) @ Kansas City (5-4)
Chicago (7-3) @ Tampa Bay (7-3)
San Diego (6-4) @ Washington (5-5)
Cleveland (4-6) @ Minnesota (4-5)
Sunday, late games:
Miami (3-7) @ Oakland (4-6)
Jacksonville (7-3) @ Arizona (3-7)
NY Giants (7-3) @ Seattle (8-2)
Green Bay (2-7) @ Philadelphia (4-6)
Sunday night:
New Orleans (2-8) @ NY Jets (2-8)
Monday night:
Pittsburgh (7-3) @ Indianapolis (10-0)

16 games in all + the number of points in the last game. It looks like a tough week for picking, and the deadline is around noon on Thursday.

I managed to figure out your picks, Fbaezer (I got Green Bay by process of elimination). Thanks or gracias or whatever. Back when Johnboy was in college he had to take two years of language. He chose Spanish. Now Johnboy is not, I think, stupid. In fact, he can solve some pretty complex math problems in his head and if you want to know about the ramifications of the relationship between the Chinese yuan and the US dollar or about the recent German elections...
But Johnboy couldn't handle Spanish. He got through the first year only because the 8 am class was in a temporary space in the basement of my dorm and because the young instructor was stoned most of the time and spent a lot of the class-time trying to flirt with the girls. Johnboy failed second year on his first try and squeaked through on his second try.

Another true story: many of the convenience stores (like 7-11's) in my area are now run by Asians. Hispanics run a lot of others. Johnboy was in one of them recently when the Coca-Cola deliveryman came in. A burly redneck guy with tattoos and a Confederate flag on his baseball cap. He spoke with the clerk in Spanish.

Week #11 ends. As a group we didn't do as well or as badly as in other weeks. Sort of in the middle. Losses by St Louis, Washington and Pittsburgh hurt all of us; and the Green Bay loss hurt all of us except Region and El-diablo.
Liontamerx, Child of Light and Realjohnboy finished at 11-5. Region, Cowdoc, Jpinmilw, Panzade and George were right behind at 10-6. Fbaezer closed at 9-7 and El-diablo was at 9-6. The best experts on ESPN were at 10-6.
Looking at the tiebreaker, the score last night was Minnesota (20) - Green Bay (17). 37 points in total. John predicted (32); Liontamerx (43) and Child of Light (56). Let's see: 32 + 43 = 75. Divided by 2 to get the mid-point comes out to 37 1/2. Realjohnboy wins the week by the thinnest of tiebreaking margins. Our 9th different champion in 11 weeks. Being the egalitarian group that we are, Week #12 belongs to Dragon, Fbaezer, Ray or El-diablo.
The cumulative Wins minus Losses race continues to tighten at the top.
Cowdoc and Liontamerex are at (46); Panzade (43); Johnboy and Child of Light (42) and Region (40). Then there is a bit of gap before we find George (32); Dragon and Fbaezer (24); El-diablo (21); Jpinmilw (16) and Ray (8). We hope Ray will be back this week.
