Your trust and naivety has soared completely beyond belief. Democrats don't see Kerry or any other politician as saviors. But the adulation with which you right wingers seem to hold that moronic brain dead freak sits somewhere between pathetic and disgusting. I think you lot are the one's who need IQ tests if you can't see this mass murdering fascist puppet of big business for the worthless piece of scum he really is.

This is a laugh, Gunga...but since you are backing a moron for president, I guess you gotta try anything.

And the "big lie" seems to be coming a big part of conservative strategy.

Hey...it worked for Hitler!

I'm sure that would make your day! But I suspect that pulling wings off butterflies has a similar effect on you.

Wilso -

Or, perhaps the average American voter has certain characteristics in common that have nothing to do with politics. Most of us don't like phonies, for instance. Or being patronized by partisan media and pointy-headed elites. Fair-play is important to most of us and some of us have a distrust of lawyers.

Even the average citizens of this country who haven't been insanely focused on this election are able to see how the candidates rate using this criteria. So call us what you will, but the results clearly lean Bush.

In my opinion, but of course Smile

I think it's time to change the title of this thread to:

Kerry's IQ might be lower than Bush's

With a big fat emphasis on might. Since when was it scientific to make up an IQ based on 30 or 40 year old information which doesn't measure intelligence? And the conclusion of this made up study? That Kerry's IQ might be 5 points lower than Bush's? That doesn't mean squat about whether he can govern. I can't even believe Bush supporters would find comfort in this assinine article.

I'm going to start a thread called: Bush has more hair on his butt than Kerry. I will detail the careful study I did measuring the wrinkling in their pants and observing the way they walk.

I happen to think it takes some sorta moron to swallow the meme that anyone able obtain a Harvard MBA, then fly hundreds of hours in a single-seat, unstable, underpowered, full-manual-no-computer-assist-control, proven pilot-killer, high-speed, high-altitude fighter/interceptor of 50's design without killin' himself, gain the governorship of one of our largest states against a powerful incumbent and the all-out opposition of The Democratic Party Establishment, then become President of The United States and preside over mid-term gains for his Party is a fool.

But I don't wanna let that stop anyone who figures chasin' that particular idiocy is gonna advance their cause. The more shots The Opposition fires into their own feet, the better they serve The Incumbency's November triumph.

You can't discount the fact that while Bush's IQ may have been high to begin with, years of drinking and cocaine abuse have undoubtedly lowered that number considerably.... and all the signs are there to see...

I'm willing to be that there are several on this forum that have higher IQs than both candidates. That doesn't mean I'd want any of us to be president.

I can assure you that I know many many MANY recovered alcoholics and drug addicts who, while they did their health no favors when they were using, are currently heading corporations, teaching in universities, and writing scholarly text books, etc. I know at least two who are Mensa. To think that George Bush is mentally defective because he had problems many years ago is pretty darn cruel and insensitive if you ask me.

However, if you want to go that route, shall we discuss John Kerry's early signs of dementia? I mean he swore and ranted and raved about the heavy fire he was under leading to his first purple heart--even though he had already written in his journal they had not come under fire as yet. And it was seared - Seared - SEARED into his brain that Christmas in Cambodia and seething that Nixon had sent him there - even though Nixon was not yet in office and all witnesses agree Kerry was never in Cambodia on Christmas or any other time.
Now are these lies? Or mental lapses. If we go with lies, what does that say about Kerry? If we go with mental lapses, what does that say about comparing Kerry's mental capacity with George Bush's?

Good Lord, Foxy. There's no need to get defensive... unless there might be something to the claim that Bush drank away some brain cells.

Not defensive at all. I would have to give some credence to the accusations to be defensive. Just pointing out the absurdity. That's all.
