I haven't read this whole article myself yet - just started it and decided to post it for your edification or dismissal, plus points of view.

I'm from the generation before the baby boomers, haven't partaken of weed for decades since the seventies, but I'm not against it. May yet end up baking my own brownies as I get older and may become infirm in myriad ways. Or even if not so infirm. Even I have amusing or semi-amusing stories from the old days.

Reminds me of this:

The short video is entertaining and informative.

Decriminalization and regulation is the best path.

"My friends in Colorado have told me some pretty terrible things about addiction problems and behavior problems, etc. over there in Denver. I just believe we’re conducting a massive human experiment as we legalize these drugs."
-Republican Governor of Illinois Bruce Rauner, referring to marijuana legalization.

What kind of shitty friends does he have? Razz

The government makes too much money off the criminalizing of drugs and pot. Plus it keeps certain minority citizens incarcerated. They will have to be forced eventually to change. They will not do so out of the goodness of the heart.
