President Donald Trump's first job-approval rating is in, and it is the lowest an incoming president has ever received.

Only 45% of Americans approve of Trump's job performance over the first three days of his presidency, according to a Gallup survey released Monday. It's the first time a president has received an initial approval rating under 50% in the history of the poll, which dates back to Dwight Eisenhower's first term in 1953.

Not sure how to track how many non violent protesters get mowed down. Or black Americans murdered to "stop the carnage."

How much wall will be built in a year?
Will the two pipelines be completed and will it be worth the resulting 100 permanent jobs?

What I find most telling is the time and effort spent trying to prove he's legitimate. His press officer's first act was to lie about how many people attended the inauguration, and it's a very obvious lie, haranguing the press doesn't change what people can see with their eyes. Then there's all this nonsense about five million illegal votes.

If his presidency is a success nobody will care about his legitimacy, but instead of focusing on the job he's getting involved in petty squabbles. For a "successful" business he's not very good at choosing which battles to fight.

It's because of mental illness. Megalomania. Narcissism. Deep insecurity.

I'll make this prediction now. The DOW will continue to increase slowly for a while until reality catches up with expectations. When Trump's policies come into play I expect turmoil. The DOW will fluctuate wildly as Trump scrambles to adjust. One year from now the DOW will be around 17,000.
I hope I'm wrong and will be laughing at this in Jan. 2018 !!

@edgarblythe,
The Chinese curse about living in interesting times seems spot on.

Talking of which this is the year of the Cock, and this particular inflatable Cock has sold out in China.

@izzythepush,
In the US , the Chinese restaurants that have adopted that "Comb-over cock" symbol have had some threats from clients who were staunch Trump supporters.

Some of the best ideas in business are to recognize that when half of one's client base thinks counter to one, then one should STFU and just make the crispy duck. Our rights of free speech end at someone elses ear (or eyes in this case)

Kinda stupid to think that people come in one committed political favor

Stupid idiots
